Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Teaching is a rewarding profession, don't you agree, Jack! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Your fancy version of the stag HHB is very fetching, Jack!:cool::thumbsup: As is that photo of the Yorkshire vista; that building in the foreground with the retractable roof is quite impressive!:D

Cracker Jack's scheduled appearance in my pocket ended Saturday, but I decided to take him on vacation with us. I hope I'll get some new pics of him soon, but for now, an old one:

Thanks for your efforts my friend :) Yes, very much so I think, I have done a lot of it over the years :) I am sure that Cracker Jack is thrilled by the idea of going away with you, I hope you have a great time Gary :)

Here's the big feller! Sam Smith's traditional Yorkshire Stingo comes with a formidable reputation, and a price to match its high ABV. Because of that, it's not widely available, even in Sam Smith's pubs. I've wanted to try it for years, and this is my first bottle :) Cheers

As we all know, we have our indoor, outdoor, general carry, and Sunday best knives. We choose some knives for these categories while other knives make their own decisions...
This beautiful Hartshead creation from Jack seems to prefer the outdoors. :)
I really like this picture with a wonderful old historic brick home built in 1879 as the backdrop.

Lovely Knives Those Hartsheads - well done to A Wrights!
I I was going to sharpen these last week - but had to go down to Christchurch for three days, and its been a frustrating weekend for the want of doing Knife stuff!
This week these two Babys get the Diamond Stone Treatment!

As usual so many great photos and comment. I have been sorting and cleaning firearms and gear all day and need a nap. I think I'll join Dutch and the WCLF.
First... Absolute beauties! :cool::thumbsup:
Second... Shame on you for forgetting your Lamb. :D
Thanks John, I hide myface in sh
What a striking photo Harvey!
I picked up a few old photos of Sheffield in the market the other week. This one features the road I grew up on. Our house was a couple of hundred yards further up the road, and a little smaller, but I lived in one of those houses when I was in my early twenties :)

This photo is taken nearby, and the two bridges shown pan the Porter Brook . Both bridges lead to the dam (or millpond) of Upper Spurgear Wheel . I wonder if the old gent is Mr Ibbotson, the owner of Porter Glen Boating Lake?

This photo shows one of the entrances to Sheffield Botanical Gardens, and is close to where the Famous Sheffield Shop stands today, and near where @pmew 's grandfather used to live :)

The photos also give me an opportunity to show both sides of my Hartshead Barlow ;)
A great tour and HHB
Thanks gents :) No bowler I'm afraid Harvey, I come from a long line of flat-cap wearers, you needed a bit of money to own a Bowler! :D Like these two fellers at another of the Porter cutlery dams, rough equidistant between photos 1 and 2. They are probably the gaffers!

The wheel was owned by Harrison Brothers & Howson, who made a fine Lambsfoot
I'm not sure what I'm looking for, is the wheel not seen?
I keep meaning to carry my Charlie Lambsfoot more :)
