Thought and prayers, Jeff.Get well, soon, Dennis, the Guardians are with you! I'm going in for a stress test this morning, before my surgery next week. I'm not looking forward to it.![]()
Good Morning! My wife and I went to an area not far from our home its called the Ranche.
Historic Cochrane Ranche Site
The Town of Cochrane’s most notable park is the Historic Cochrane Ranche Site. With its spectacular mountain views, this beautiful public space is the original site of Alberta's first large-scale livestock operation established by Senator Matthew Cochrane in 1881.
I took a couple of photos this evening, the first is a photo of the first Hospital built-in 1909 restored 2005 the second is a preserved fire wagon not a lot of capacity
in that one. The last photo is, my lovely HHB Sambar Stag staged on one of the many old trees throughout the area.

That Waynorth bone lambfoot is to die for, congrats...with a good amount of jealousy and envyHello Guardians! It was around this time yesterday evening when I was preparing to go to the Porch at Great Eastern Cutlery! It’s been a busy and tiresome day but I was able to complete my Waynorth Cutlery Real Lambsfoot Trio with the addition of this beautiful Smooth White Bone Special from Charlie @waynorth this morning at the 2019 Great Eastern Cutlery Rendezvous!![]()
Well done and special thanks to Bill and Charlie for bringing us these wonderful knives!

Hope everyone has a peach of a day ...![]()
David, I have trouble using, a few of, what I consider my 'finer' lambfoot knives. Hope all that is keeping you away gets settled down and your back sooner. Wonderful photos!Aye Jack, my August was just got silly busy, which I had an inkling it would, and it's not finished yet so I won't be round much for the rest of the month either.
Delicious looking pie btw!
I hope this makes up for lack of donn pie action.

Wishing you a speedy recovery Dennis; take it easy.
That's a cool photo with your lambsfoot on that old block.
Thanks for posting that Dave, what a lovely looking hospital.
Not had the opportunities to enjoy the forums for a couple of weeks for various reasons so apologies for any missed acknowledgements but as always great photos everyone!
Strictly speaking this was last Friday. I still can't bring myself to use this one properly for anything other than (very) light duties so she's a bit of a shelf queen (or a pub beer garden table queen).
![]()
Enjoy your Friday everyone! The weekend's almost here.![]()
Jer, I hope that was 'tongue in cheek'The nurses are to die for.
Ah, a slingshot...thanks for the info...it looks like it's a fine work of art!!Good morning Guardians.

Looks like it was a wonderful day Dave. Also appears we're practically neighbors. My wife and I are in Calgary
Carrying the two bolster lambsfoot today. It was very useful freeing this beauty from the confines of it's international packaging last night when it arrived safely, all the way from Estonia. A unique custom slingshot that I couldn't resist when I saw it

That's great Mike! Finally someone in my area that has an interest in knives.Looks like it was a wonderful day Dave. Also appears we're practically neighbors. My wife and I are in Calgary![]()
Your right Preston all the major changes we've had has really been a mere 100 years or so.Dave, wonderful photos, that hospital is quite quaint as is the fire wagon. Looking at those items and seeing what we have today is quite revealing as to how far we have come!
Vince, I must have thin (and undoubtedly royal) blood. If the temp is below 70˚F, I usually wear a jacket. (Since we keep our thermostat at 68 during the winter, I wear a jacket and hat indoors all winter.Wow! Dealing with mid to upper 90s here. Heat index was 108 a couple of hours ago. But why were you wearing a jacket if it was only 49 degrees? That's short sleeve weather!
...
No, I didn't. Don't know the lyrics to the latter. I remember hearing the song on the radio, but never really listened to Lynard Skynard. Bought the Zevon album though.
...
My longest multi-quote. I'm exhausted! (Typing on a phone with my fat thumbs and having to correct the dpellling all the time.).![]()
Thanks, Harvey.5K Qs Thank you kindly G.T. Splendid portraits of Cracker Jack as he suns himself. Sound like an enjoyable itinerary, tomorrow. Have fun.
Thanks, John.Sounds like Heaven after dealing with 100+ degree temps here.
True, Jose is missing in action too.
Fine wordsmithing, GT.
That would have been a job for the dustpan.

Each time I see a photo of one of those Waynorth Cutlery Lambsfoot knives, especially the jigged bone model, I'm left speechless. To see piles of them like you posted, @KellyGlanzer and Ron @Half/Stop , required using a defibrillator before I could respond!Hello Guardians!

Congrats on the new knives and other fine tokens of esteem from the ever-generousI went to the post office today after going to the doctor and a mysterious package from an equally mysterious return nameJack Black was waiting for my signature. Well, I brashly signed for it, brought it home, opened it, and the contents were as follows.
![]()
WAIT A MINUTE, WAIT A MINUTER, WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!!!!
Inside the package there was also this bonus Lambfoot knife with Buffalo horn covers. Unexpected but very much appreciated. Thank you Jack!!!!! There was also a blue pin with a Yourkshire emblem in the package but I forgot to take a picture. I'll rectify that later.

I'll post more pictures of the knives throughout the upcoming weekend.
That's a dynamic duo, @E40!Added a rosewood A. Wright to my ebony thanks to a forum member.

Thanks for the backstory on that shot, Preston. There were rocks down below, Gary, I almost didn't do the photo. It was a fairly solid perch so I went ahead and took a chance. There were bees all around just before and after I snapped the shutter. I was hoping for a group photo. Maybe tomorrow!
I hope you bounce back ASAP, Dennis!
Certainly a peach of a knife!!...
Hope everyone has a peach of a day ...![]()
