Thanks. Cool flashlight. Have a small Surefire but too big for the pocket. It's a Fenix E18R and a Fisher space pen. There is a full picture of it at #29269.
That's great! this is better than Willy Wonka's place.Thank you for the belly laugh which I had when reading your comment, Dave. You’re always welcome to move in, my friend.Sweet Lambfoot you got there.
Thank you! Hope your uncle continues to improve!Great to hear! Continuing hope for better health.
My Uncle may be released to go home soon from his acute rehab. He hasn't been out of a hospital for several weeks, so this would be some very welcoming news. Then learning how to manage around home will be his next challenge. But at least he will be home. And I have enjoyed having my Aunt here as we have gotten to catch up quite a bit. But we all know about what it means to be home.

Three excellent pictures right there. I don't know how you guys take such clear pictures with so much detail. You guys rock.
Ty John ! I try yo take pics on overcast days or in the evening. I get real close to the knife with my phone and tilt and move it until it looks right. Later I may discard a few pics that don’t look right. I usually crop the image too and edit/frame it with an editing app. I use Snapseed however there may be better apps outthere now.Three excellent pictures right there. Thursday, September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
I propose that on that day we all post in pirate talk and use pirate themed pictures.
My boys and I celebrate it every year. I even teach my classes with a little bit of pirate talk thrown in.
It is! I started back in 1980 and use to work out every day. Not so much now.Looks like fun, I'm just scared that I will pick up yet another hobby,
Thank you kindly, Kevin! They really have some beautiful horn out there!I like the golden ox horn on that one of yours.![]()
Thank you very much, Greg!Cool photo!![]()
Great photo, Ed! That's an awsome looking compass! Looks like it's been down a trail or two in it's life! This calls for my Rosewood Big-un.

My two "best" guesses: a burner on a stovetop or a car headlight??

It's a win-win situation when figuring out which one to carry! This one has swept the pocket hog Hartshead out of my pocket at least for one more day.

It's a good thing to have an emergency bottle opener handy, especially after work!I'll have a Lambsfoot in my front pocket for cutting duties, and the Shard in my watch pocket to take care of any screwdriver, bottle opening, or prying emergencies.![]()
Here's to hoping he gets a regular room, then gets out of there! They probably couldn’t catch a cold Gary! I was only carrying the one knife!

My BROTHER IN LAW is still in ICU! They may move him to a regular room tomorrow!Today I’m still sitting with him and I’m toting a Lambfoot in my pocket!

Cool (bird) shot!Good (late) morning Guardians! As I continue to find ways to entertain myself, I offer a picture from my very makeshift studio of my A. Wright with the nice pattern side. Show side is eh.... This is a little nicer. Hope everyone is having a great day.View attachment 1187407

It's actually a light fixture glass globe, the knife is setting inside of it. I found an old wooden pulley a couple of weeks ago, and decided to use it for a light.
Beautiful grain with those Ironwood covers, José!

Good Thursday Morning Guardians
This week seems to be flying by so fast. It's good to be at work and busy again.
I've tried to get along with those Swiss knives, but I just never really took to them. But I do appreciate the array of tools they come with. So, I just got this Gerber Shard and I'll be testing it out in the coming weeks. I'll have a Lambsfoot in my front pocket for cutting duties, and the Shard in my watch pocket to take care of any screwdriver, bottle opening, or prying emergencies.
