Nice pic Dan

Great choices for a Daily Double Jack! :) Two superb examples and great photos my friend!

Thanks Jack! :)

Thank you very much Ron :)

Congratulations Fred, that sure looks like a Lambsfoot blade. Todd makes an incredible knife, and I think mine is the most perfectly-made knife I own. However, while it was commissioned as a Lambsfoot, it actually has a Sheepsfoot blade, a very nice one, but it isn't a Lambsfoot :( Just to clarify, are the edge and spine of the blade of your knife parallel or not?

Nice choice Ron

I think we've all had the same experience Mark, sometimes the quotes seem to 'hang around' even if you've already replied to them  Have a good day yourself, that's a great pic

It is not parallel by the slimmest of margins, so technically it makes it a lambsfoot. My other Davison is parallel making it a sheepsfoot. Either way, a damn nice knife.

Thanks for the info Fred, and again, congratulations

I couldn't agree more, a Lambsfoot is made for using :t
As you may notice, the new layer of patina from the food prep picked up a couple of scrapes from the cardboard slicing. Such is the life of a working lambsfoot.... :)
That's what I love about my lambsfoot, it feels so right using it, even for heavier tasks too. I think it's the toughest knife in my small collection.
And yet it looks so classy and elegant too ! ( especially my black ebony one lol :).
Feels right at home, from a restaurants to cutting up cardboard and camping duties .... always there :)

Nicely said Dan

Just noticed that we're nearly up to 1500 pages! :) Time for another giveaway I think :) ;)

I've been very much enjoying Dan's A Walk in Nature series, and appreciate the effort he's put into taking these great pics and posting them :) So, how about this, post a pic of your Lambsfoot out 'in nature', say 'I'm in', and I'll stick your name in my flat-cap for the draw? Just one entry each please. Competition ends with the last post on page 1500. Oh, and I'll send the winner a Lambsfoot! :D
