Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Kermit and his friends anxiously awaiting the new addition to the flock. They've been informed he or she is scheduled to arrive in a week or so and they're doing their best to be patient.

Sköll is looking in great form, John!:thumbsup: Such great grain pattern!
Thank you, Dennis. :)

I just had some homemade apple pie!
Ooooh... You win! :)

Cheep Cheep!! I thought I was letting a baby chick into my Lamb herd!!?? This knife that follows
was in a "make any offer" pile at my knife club breakfast, so it cost very little!
Two days later, I was just now Coon-Fingering and Chicken-Eyeing it (heh)!!:D and it's great!!
It's an Eye Witness, 3 9/16", with some black "staglon" type handles, and hammered pins!
The blade is perfectly centered, and hardly worn, just nice and evenly patina-ed!! Nice snap open and closed!!
It needs a light honing, and it's going for a pocket-ride!! Cheep cheep!!:D:D

I generally have a bottle of Talisker in Vince, and from what you've said about whisky I think you'd like it :) I can understand you going with bourbon though, I hope to be properly educated in it one day :)
Bourbons are readily available here, and usually relatively inexpensive. My favourite, which I have been drinking for over 40 years, is Wild Turkey 101 (there is a Wild Turkey 81--stay away from it!). The "101" refers to the proof, and is the original. I guess they came out with a lower proof to appeal to more people, but it does not taste the same, of course. My recommendation from a scotch lover.

And Good Morning, Guardians!

Thank you, Jack. :)

Oops... Where did I park that car? :D

Yes indeed, current pic from South Yorkshire, and it's still raining!

Thanks for the advice Vince :) Bourbons are usually a little pricier than Scotch here, and I am wary of purchasing it when I know so little about it. I might see if I can go to a tasting sometime. I think I have had Wild Turkey once, but I reckon it would have been the lesser type. Nice pic my friend :)

It may be my fault for jumping the gun and watching my favorite Christmas movie last night.
In the silver lining department, maybe some of that Fall yardwork will have to wait for Spring.
