Just received my first lambfoot today but I assure it will not be my last. I’ve been interested in the blade shape for a while and am now able to see why it is appreciate so much. I look forward to using this and contributing more photos to the thread as it gets broken it.

Welcome to the club!

Nice looking horn on that one.

Thanks a lot. I’m all around happy with it with the exception of the centering. The blade almost touches the right side. If I wasn’t planning on using it I’d be sending it back for a replacement. But I do agree the horn looks great!!

Sounds like a great day, Jack. I hope you enjoy it. :)

Thanks a lot John, I am struggling a bit after a rotten night's sleep, but it was nice to see my pals, and there was a very good atmosphere in the market, with stall-holders passing out drinks, and mine pies and Christmas cake in abundance. I left a little earlier than usual, in the hope that I could get a nap before going out again at 5pm, but the city centre was heavily congested with traffic, and a journey which usually takes me no more than 30 minutes, took an hour and a half. I will be going back into town again shortly, and as the shops are open late tonight, it may be even worse coming home the second time o_O

I know I said I was going to carry my ebony WCLF every day this month...
and I have done it so far, including today. But when I got home I just had to throw "My Knife" in my pocket.

Nice to see Your Knife John :)

Thank you, Jack. Your pics of cheese, toast, and scones has my belly rumbling a bit. The knife isn't hard to look at either .

Thought I would bring this humble lass out for a spin today. She is the one that started it all...

Thinking about my Knife of the Year. This has to be considered!

A cheesy photo, Jack!:p
You certainly have a favorite blade there!

Good for you! Looks like you have a couple of John's Little Helpers to assist!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Was just thinking that! But it is cold outside, so you need the carbs to keep warm....at least that's the excuse I'm using!:thumbsup:

From what I've seen recently, far more knives leave the factory with un-centred blades than centred, and with a range of other flaws  I have tried time and time again to get them to up their QC, but I think it's a lost cause unfortunately :(

Another fantastic pic Doc ;)

Good Morning Guardians
This picture celebrates the Christmas season, but also the fact that my son got a "Call Back" from his last audition. :)

Great news John, love the pic :)

3.30pm here Guardians, and I need to eat, and get shaved and changed, so I'm just calling in briefly. I hope everyone is having a good day :)

Even with its poor centering I’m still very pleased with the knife. I even used it to cut up some fruit for a morning snack at the office.

I'm Back!!! Well, the doctors in their "Ivory Tower" at OHSU say I've got cancer in my left jaw bone. They are going to remove the left jaw bone and replace it with a bone from my leg or my arm. Oh Joy. Since I'm going to have to have a Sunny Disposition for what's ahead, I'm posting a picture of my Jack Black Jack Black SFO Hartshead Barlow basking in the Sun to kick-start my Sunny Disposition frame of mind.

Man, that's rough. Best of luck with it.

Sorry to hear that, Ed. Will pray for a successful operation and a swift recovery. Keep your chin up!
(Beautiful Barlow, by the way.)

Saying a prayer here, Ed. I do think that it might be tough for a grumpy old dude to have a sunny disposition, but if it'll help, do it!
Nice pic of a great knife!

Too cold to be barefootin' today, so I'll be Lambsfootin'!
