I'm Back!!! Well, the doctors in their "Ivory Tower" at OHSU say I've got cancer in my left jaw bone. They are going to remove the left jaw bone and replace it with a bone from my leg or my arm.Oh Joy. Since I'm going to have to have a Sunny Disposition for what's ahead, I'm posting a picture of my
Jack Black SFO Hartshead Barlow basking in the Sun to kick-start my Sunny Disposition frame of mind.

Saying a prayer here, Ed. I do think that it might be tough for a grumpy old dude to have a sunny disposition, but if it'll help, do it!
Nice pic of a great knife!
Too cold to be barefootin' today, so I'll be Lambsfootin'!

Sounds like a LOT of fun was had by all.I am struggling a bit after a rotten night's sleep, but it was nice to see my pals, and there was a very good atmosphere in the market, with stall-holders passing out drinks, and mine pies and Christmas cake in abundance.
I'm sorry to hear that, Ed. Best wishes for a full recovery. Be sunny, be grumpy, be whatever gets you through it all.I'm Back!!! Carrying the Ebony WCLF again today. ...
What classy knives those ebony WCLFs are, John & Ron!Good evening Guardians!
...
Your AC looks right at home with royalty, Vince!
Another majestic stag lambsfoot! Your AC looks superb, Harvey!
Thank you, my friend. I am hanging in there, be it just barely but hanging in there.
...
FBC, I hope life's barbed wire doesn't hang you up for very long....
Thank you, GT, for all the fine compliments. I always enjoy reading them and most certainly appreciate the time you take to impart them.
I forgot to post this one yesterday, followed by my 2019 KOTY.
...
Handsome horn pair of lambsfoot models, @madtaz63!I've been looking for another Sheffield Lambfoot and this was on a post I'd found on Instagram.. I been looking for something similar to the A Wright Buffalo Horn that I have!View attachment 1250264 View attachment 1250265
Very cool puzzle, Harvey! I have several "math puzzles" that have the same set-up: 16 rectangles that each have a different math expression along each side, and the goal is to make a 4x4 square in which edges of rectangles that meet contain equivalent expressions (like "x^2 - 4" gets matched with "(x+2)(x-2)" in a "factoring" version of the puzzle).Hello Ray. Thank you. My parents owned an antique@curios store a longtime ago. It’s a 1950s(?) “Setko Match Heads Puzzle.

Great to see your stag HHB KOTY with some hearty bread, Jack!...
Morning Guardians, hope everyone's week is going well so far. Plenty to do today, and I'll be doing it with my Hartshead BarlowJust starting the day with some toasted malthouse sourdough

...
Thanks, Ron....
Thanks Gary!Great to see the lambs stirring this morning!
![]()
Thanks for the interesting connection and the generous compliments, John....
The Doctor has been saving the world on Christmas for many years... He had to learn that from Somebody.
Excellent photo of a grand Lambsfoot, GT.
Love it!!!![]()
Great-looking jigged bone Wright lambsfoot, Tim!Just unwrapped this. In all honesty I expected to be sending it back for a refund tomorrow, but it is staying, a real cracker of a pocketknife at the price....(The black marks on the blade are polishing residue)
It would be unnatural and perverse not to!...
I had to go into the city centre earlier, and was overcome with a craving for chips (fat-cut fries) and gravy! Naturally, I succumbed!![]()
![]()
...
Sadly, in 68 years, I've NEVER uttered that phrase....Also had my first mince-pie of the year![]()
...
We have English muffins too, but they're quite different from crumpets. Biggest difference is that crumpets are more spongy. And there's no top and bottom like an English muffin where you cut it in half. Great... Now I'm hungry
...
Thanks for correcting my misconceptions, Mike and Jack.I missed GT's comment earlierEnglish muffins - or muffins as we call them here!
- aren't as popular as they were when I was young, but you'll still find them in any supermarket. We have American muffins too, but perhaps confusingly, they're also just called muffins!
...
Thanks, Harvey....
5K Qs - Thank you GT. Excellent looking Cracker Jack image.
Good Afternoon Guardians.
My favorite breakfast from Deerfield Bakery. Toasted grilled cheese and bacon sandwich with seasoned french fries...And a 1-XL cherry on top.
...
I appreciate your compliments and replies, Dennis, to me and so many others....
Nice photo, Gary, but it looks like a tree made of Andes Mints...mmm!
...
Thank you very much, Gary!! A little levity helps the day along!
Yeah, Harvey is such an entertainer, and forces you to smile!
I learned in the country as well, I had a 1963 Dodge pickup when I was 16, use to have to haul water down to our horse coral every day, it was a fun old truck!
Your Dynamic Duo of Jacks seem to have you coverd for any chore, Gary!!
Well that's not a 'baa-aaa-aad' heard, GT!(though the pun is!
)
...
Wonderful photo of your stag HHB in a striking setting, David!I had a very busy (and knife-less) weekend but got out on a walk on Monday with my HHB as company.
...
Great photos everyone; I hope your all having a good week.![]()
Glad you'll have some time to relax now, John. I'm enjoying your lambsfoot holiday photos!Good Morning Guardians
Sorry I have been a little absent lately. I was part of a couple of committees to reformat our school for next year. It's been a long and crazy process but the meetings are finally over and all the homework that went with it. Time to relax and enjoy the holidays... after I get all the grades and report cards done.

Great news, John! I just realized that "Horn big'un" has double meaning for you. What's the official name of your son's instrument? (All I can think of is "tuba".)
