Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good Morning Guardians

Good morning!

What elections are you all voting in? I didn't think your national election was 'til November.

Take away the Hendersons, and they're just very expensive crisps o_O I thought their reasoning was a bit dubious too

Nice pic my friend, I admire your dedication to get out on the hills :)

Haha aye, fancy pants crisps chasing a miniscule market share.
I call my once weekly walks 'sanity breaks'. If you spent as much time with my mum as I've had to recently you'd need them to. :D

Supposedly, that was in the Texas constitution, don't know if it still is. The federal government doesn't recognize that right anyway. ;)

Your federal government sounds a lot like our national government then.

Hey Jack, I think I found a sandwich shop your mate might like! :D

Oh I really have to visit that place. :D:thumbsup:

Jack Black Jack Black - Love those shoes. Many nice images from you and all the Guardians.

Good Afternoon Guardians.

Your forgiven. Two great photos there.

Wish y'all were here! :D

Looking at that bowl of deliciousness right there, I wish I was there to.

You are correct, I think all household appliances have a built in self destructive system, to go off right after warranty is up!

Man, the great refrigerator fires of 2020? Somebody let QC slip?
Thanks, David!

According to my brother who knows a fair bit about electricals, although there are quality standards for white goods, there are no quality standards for the individual components within the goods, so the manufacturers can get away with using the cheapest rubbish they can find. In washing machines and dishwashers the fires tend to start in the power switch. Whether this is same in the U.S and other countries I couldn't tell you.
This was caused by a fridge bursting into flames, which was then worsened by other factors.

Morning everyone. I think it's my HHB today.

So perfect!
That looks delicious Rachel :D

Looking at that bowl of deliciousness right there, I wish I was there to.

Thanks, I'd been looking forward to it all day. So good, I ate it all and promptly fell asleep. It's a good thing I don't eat like that all the time. I'd never get anything done and weight 400 lbs.

What elections are you all voting in? I didn't think your national election was 'til November.
It's the state primary elections, when the political parties decide who runs in the November election. Both for president and lots of "down ballot" races for state and local offices.

Wood on wood on wood... Great pics, Dennis.:thumbsup:

Another great pic, Jack. Glad you're getting some sunshine.:thumbsup:

What elections are you all voting in?
Rachel covered it. Primary election, the Republican party and the Democratic party choose their candidates for the Presidential election.

That's cool! If I turn the wheels and pull the lever, will it make a Hartshead for me too? ;):D:thumbsup:

Hope everyone is getting along well  This Turner & Co is a recent addition. It's a big un at 4 1/8" closed. Main blade is 3 9/16 " Thick and heavy with a wraparound spring on the pen. It's a handful.

That’s a beautiful knife Rob. I was sorta hoping it would show up here. It’s worth every penny you paid for it! ;)

The Alamo battle was against an oppressive Mexican government. Sam Houston defeated the Mexican army under Santa Ana a few weeks after the Alamo fell. He became our President, and later our Governor after Texas joined the United States in 1845. Houston had also been Governor of Tennessee. He was a good American. (Let's not talk about the Civil War!). I am proud to be a Texan, and proud to be American.
God Bless Texas! :D

I might be a week late on this one but I don't care I'm posting it anyway! :p:D

Kevin that’s a beauty! You can post it as often as you like! :D

That's a real coincidence Dave as I was actually looking at those vests on your website a couple of weeks ago. They seem much more robust and warmer than what we in the UK would consider a waistcoat to be. As Jack said, a good vest certainly rounds things off and definitely 'cuts a dash'. :D
And immensely enjoyable pictures as always.

Thanks!

Yes indeed, I once bought a 'tub' of their Hendersons-flavour crisps, cost me an arm and a leg! The container was half-empty, and the crisps were stale o_O

I know just what you mean, there's something about a midweek walk that really blows the cobwebs away and recharges your batteries :) When I worked as a youth-worker, I worked a lot of unpaid hours, and had also started at university. I lived on the A625/Ecclesall Rd at the time, with the Peak District just up the road. One day, I went out of the house on the way to the university, and at the last minute, I just turned left instead of right. I had a day out in the Peak, and it really did me a world of good

Disgraceful isn't it? Both me and @scrteened porch used to live close to Grenfell :(

Post away Kevin! :D That's a cool pic

Cross country skiing with my oldest daughter a few days ago.
The tip of my lambsfoot point to the area where the pics were taken on the "green" trail.
It's a low, marshy area where the landscape changes drastically as you descend into it, things look rather dead .
XC skiing is over rolling terrain is a really good workout lol ... burned 800 calories ?
Great  ! Bring the hot chocolate and sweets with no guilt :D
