Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Fabulous herd! :cool::thumbsup:

I supplement my bag food with high protein smoothies, so this past week, I rounded up part of my herd to slice apples, oranges, bananas, avocados, etc.. Anyway, I've got a nice patina developing on them. Charlie's WCLF is starting to come along nicely as are the two Hartshead Barlows. As the patinas darken, I'll post updates on them.

Look good to me Ed!

Crikey I need my glasses on as well.
I hope your revolver targets looked like that slingshot target. :D

I'd hope to have better grouping, and get rid of those strays, with the revolver :D Rather foolishly, I use almost every slingshot I own slightly differently, and after a couple of weeks without using that one, I couldn't quite remember where my aiming point was! Took me a few shots to warm up ;)

I second that. Have a great Saturday Jack.

Thanks Bill, hope you're having a good one

Nice grouping Jack! Your barlow is aging wonderfully.

Thanks Jon, I'm looking forward to getting outside with a slingshot again :) Since they are threatening to tazer people for not having ID on my street, I think I'll stick with indoor shooting for now  o_O

Hunting windmills today? ;)
Great picture, Jack. :cool::thumbsup:

Thanks John, I may be tilting a little by the end of the day ;)

Good morning, Guardians! May your coffee be hot* and your reading relaxing.

(*) Or iced. That'd be OK, too. Just not lukewarm. ;)

Cool pic Greg :)

Good Morning Guardians

Last night was fun. We hung out with a couple of friends at their place.
They own a horse boarding stable, so it was nice to be around horses again.
We basically just hung out around the fire pit and had good conversation, keeping our social distance of course.

Also had a chance yesterday to experiment with another slip pattern...

That sounds like a great evening John :) Some guys down the road have set up a good-sized fire-pit, so when I finally get a beer delivery, I might stroll down for a warm and a brew with them :) Cool pocket-slip, that's great work :)

Hope everyone is having a good day. The weather here in Pensacola is gorgeous. It’s a shame everyone has to keep apart, but at least we can all go outside.

Lovely pic of your AC Joshua :)

Here's my Hartshead Barlow out on the lawn about an hour ago (5.30pm), been good weather here today too :)

I couldn’t agree with you more Dylan. There’s just something about a lever gun and a single action revolver that just feels right. I feel the same way every time I pick up one of my 1911’s. I think the word I’m looking for is nostalgic! :D That’s a great photo Dylan! You’ve gathered a very nice flock of Lambs my friend!  :D

I dare say you remember all the carrying (1911's) cocked and locked/otherwise and .45 versus 9mm debates of the late 70's and early 80's Ron :D I used to subscribe to various US magazines like Guns & Ammo and Soldier of Fortune (and a few more besides), so I remember them pretty well :D

Very impressive shooting there “Dead Eye Jack”! ;) :D

Thanks pal, but I'm embarrassed to say I'm only firing plastic ammo :( No safety on the slingshot though! :D ;)

Good morning Guardians! This Humphreys Radiant is clearly the matriarch of my flock! I have no excuse for not getting the old girl out more often! :) I pray y’all have a blessed weekend! :D

She really is a sweet old thing Ron :)

Really enjoying seeing your stunning pics again Dwight :)

WOW!!  That's an incredible collection my friend :)

Great bunch of Lambsfoot knives there Ed :) Here's to your very good health :)

Looking at all these marvelous collections and I was just thinking that you are probably getting tired of them clogging up your storage spaces. I would take good care of them if anyone felt like they needed to move some out. I have a little room left over here. :p:D

That one is a good start Les ;)

Hello Guardians !
We came across this beautiful wreath someone had hang in the forest.
I am not sure if it has any special meaning. I searched a bit online and some people make them in the fall to decorate their homes.
Perhaps this one survived all winter ? .... it looked very nice !

Jack Black Jack Black thanks! I’m glad the weather is good there as well. I’ve been outside sanding some wood into swords for my boys and trying out a new buffing attachment for my cordless drill. Now I’m sitting in the shade overseeing one of my boys as he mows our elderly neighbor’s yard.

Very nice grouping Dwight! :)

Ed those are looking mighty fine my friend! Me and the missus like a good protein smoothie on occasion! :)

Thanks Jack! The $20 I spent on my Humphreys was the best money I’ve ever spent on the auction site! :D Yes sir! I definitely remember all the debates on the carry and caliber choices Jack! I really didn’t get into much debate personally. All my 1911’s are .45 except for one Delta Elite which is of course 10mm. When I carry for self defense it’s always condition 1. Now on the 9mm discussion, my favorite is hands down another traditional, the Browning High Power. One I’m sure the British are quite familiar with! ;) Your Hartshead is developing some enviable patina my friend! :)

Considering I woke up at 3, I haven't been very hungry today. Just had something light to eat tonight

That’s a great looking meal Jack! I’m glad you’re enjoying your day my friend! :D

Aye we'd pay to see that more often.

Thank you David. Cherri carved the leaf.:)
Well your young lady has some talent; I thought it was real at first. :)

That's a great family there. What are the covers on the one at 7o'clock?

Great! Jeff Cooper.
.45 cal 1911 Condition 1. :cool::thumbsup:
Right now I'm beginning to wish I had one of them on my hip. :D

What an unusual wreath. Reminds me of something you'd see at a harvest festival.
And at least the s... has melted. :D

So a mini bbq. 4 burgers cooked that I doubled up on two baps. 2 fine. 2 underdone. Ate them anyway so I guess I'm going to find out just how sturdy my stomach still is. :D

Thanks for the compliment on my Humphreys David! I promise to share it more often! Your Hartshead is looking great! It’s good to see you’re eating well! Hope there’s no ill effects from the underdone bbq! :)

So lovely! Yes, she needs to come out more often.

And, wishing you the same.

Cool pic Greg :)

Thanks!

Beer and slingshots :)

First couple of shots found their mark at least ;) Have a good evening Guardians

Hmmm... might be better if it's slingshots then beer? ;)

Starting some baguettes.

Ooooh. Looking forward to seeing those!

Just checking in with a quick snack before heading out to mow the lawn.

It's got some very pleasant heat to it. :)

Thanks John :) I had planned to take a few more out in the garden, but I had just taken that one when my neighbour came out for a chat :)
It's good you got to socialize with some people for a little but.
Hope you had a good day and Happy Easter tomorrow.:thumbsup:
Good times John.
And these slips are just getting better and better.
Thank you, David. :)
