I’ve grown some piri piri peppers before. They were similar to Tabasco peppers and they were pretty warm. Your spice looks good.

Thanks for the compliments Harvey. The food was delicious. We baked the leftovers tonight (no photo) and now we’ll freeze two more meals from the baked spaghetti.
The man who wrote the book, True Grit, was born in my home town. His name was Charles Portis and he just passed away in February. The movie with John Wayne is excellent!
Considering I woke up at 3, I haven't been very hungry today. Just had something light to eat tonight

Hello Guardians !
We came across this beautiful wreath someone had hang in the forest.
I am not sure if it has any special meaning. I searched a bit online and some people make them in the fall to decorate their homes.
Perhaps this one survived all winter ? .... it looked very nice !

Thanks for the compliment Greg!Good looking Lambsfoot and snack!
I’ve had the Peri-Peri seasonings before. There’s a restaurant chain called “Nandos”. Peri-Peri is their specialty. There is one close to my daughters. We eat there often. They got varying degrees of heat from mild to raise the lid if you know what I mean. You can order from them on line.

We love Nando’s.Ron, I’m a big fan of Nando’s.![]()
I know there are a few locations here in the US, but I’ve only ever eaten there while we were visiting my brother in England.
Well Gary, let me just say, it was well worth the wait.I'm posting this later than all the cool kids did, but that's what happens when I successfully flatten the curve. A flock of lambs gathered on the patio:

Wow, Dan!!!A couple of pages back I posted a pic of my ebony lambsfoot with my youngest daughter's violin as part of the musical instruments theme happening lately. My oldest daughter plays the piano.
With their permission, here is a video of them playing Kol Nidrei about a year ago at their teacher's recital.
First some lambsfoot content

Nice photo of it too . You will not be able to use it someday Ron and then you might regret not using it .Good morning Guardians! This Humphreys Radiant is clearly the matriarch of my flock! I have no excuse for not getting the old girl out more often!
I pray y’all have a blessed weekend!

Awsome, John! I can smell the horses now!!Good Morning Guardians
Last night was fun. We hung out with a couple of friends at their place.
They own a horse boarding stable, so it was nice to be around horses again.
We basically just hung out around the fire pit and had good conversation, keeping our social distance of course.
Also had a chance yesterday to experiment with another slip pattern...

Nice photo, Joshua! I was stationed in Orlando for a bit, loved being able to play beach volleyball even in the winter.View attachment 1319770
Hope everyone is having a good day. The weather here in Pensacola is gorgeous. It’s a shame everyone has to keep apart, but at least we can all go outside.

Another great one, Dwight!I am enjoying your leather working pics. Put me on your list.

An incredible herd...definitely!
All the flock looking top notch, Ed!I supplement my bag food with high protein smoothies, so this past week, I rounded up part of my herd to slice apples, oranges, bananas, avocados, etc.. Anyway, I've got a nice patina developing on them. Charlie's WCLF is starting to come along nicely as are the two Hartshead Barlows. As the patinas darken, I'll post updates on them.

Indeed!Great bunch of Lambsfoot knives there EdHere's to your very good health

Jack Black thanks! I’m glad the weather is good there as well. I’ve been outside sanding some wood into swords for my boys and trying out a new buffing attachment for my cordless drill. Now I’m sitting in the shade overseeing one of my boys as he mows our elderly neighbor’s yard.
Thanks Jack! The $20 I spent on my Humphreys was the best money I’ve ever spent on the auction site!Yes sir! I definitely remember all the debates on the carry and caliber choices Jack! I really didn’t get into much debate personally. All my 1911’s are .45 except for one Delta Elite which is of course 10mm. When I carry for self defense it’s always condition 1. Now on the 9mm discussion, my favorite is hands down another traditional, the Browning High Power. One I’m sure the British are quite familiar with!
Your Hartshead is developing some enviable patina my friend!

That’s a great looking meal Jack! I’m glad you’re enjoying your day my friend!![]()

So a mini bbq. 4 burgers cooked that I doubled up on two baps. 2 fine. 2 underdone.Ate them anyway so I guess I'm going to find out just how sturdy my stomach still is.

Hope you had a good day and Happy Easter tomorrow.
Thank you, David.![]()
Jack Black - Thank you Jack. The near riot sounds like an interesting story. I predict many more such occurrences as this event continues. Better keep that slingshot close at hand.
Cheers! Hartshead looking good! Your light supper makes for a fine image.

At my request, the wife is fixing a pork roast in the slow cooker with all the trimmings. When it is cooked, it will be "fall off the bone" tender and when she shreds the roast and I cut some of it in smallish pieces, I'll be able to eat some along with mashed veggies that are in the cooker. We're having mashed potatoes and gravy and I'll be able to eat some of that too.

But guess what. My main meal tonight will come from "the Bag".![]()

Have a great and safe Sunday, Guardians!
I figured you’d had some experience with the High Power Jack. What a bargain Ron, makes it all the sweeterI'm very familiar with the Hi-Power Ron, had one for over a year when I lived in the Middle East
There wasn't anywhere near as much debate over here Ron, most shooters were more concerned about having to repair their back-stops than knock-down!
Thanks pal
Morning Guardians, it's 10.45am here already, and I am thirsting for my morning coffee. Hope everyone is doing OK, keeping well, and that you have a great day, even if the Easter bunny is social distancing this yearHappy Easter Guardians
