Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I also got a few small Lambsfoot knives made up with vintage Sambar, as and when it was available. Was that before the 2017 Guardians Lambsfoot knives, or after, I can't remember? Maybe some of you folks who have one do?

I love a good chocolate stout, some people don't like them in hot weather, I like them year round:thumbsup:

It's been a couple of years since I had one of these, just as good as I remembered, it's a beast, this particular bottle didn't have an abv listed, their website lists them at 15 to 20 depending on the batch. Felt like 20 going down and when I stood up ;)

Certainly worth waiting for :)

The first official Guardians Lambsfoot was in 2017 - were there really only 25 of these? It had 'Super Duper' Buffalo Horn, both sides, a polished blade, the 'Real Lamb Foot' etch, a fluted bolster, superior fit and finish, and came with the option of a special Guardians pocket sheath produced by @Pàdruig

That SFO also included the 5 Midnight Specials

LOL! :D That DOES look good Rob! :) As does your Lambsfoot

In 2018, the demand for that year's Guardian's knives was much greater, and I had to have 2 runs done. They came in ebony with a fluted bolster, and special buffalo horn with a threaded bolster. The initial order was for 30 knives in ebony, and 20 knives in horn, but I ended up having to order extra ebony, 20 I think, but let me know if you can remember, I do have the figures in my order book ;) Once again, Dylan produced a special Guardians pocket slip

Also, in 2019, I had 20 knives made up with Damascus Lambsfoot blades, in 4 different patterns, 5 of each:

1) A double-bolstered design. It has nickel silver bolsters, chased brass liners, a file-worked back-spring, and vintage Sambar stag covers.

2) A straight ‘Candle-end’ barehead pattern, with a nickel silver bolster, coined brass liners, a file-worked back-spring, and Snakewood covers.

3) A straight ‘Candle-end’ barehead pattern, with coined brass liners, an extended and threaded nickel silver bolster, and vintage Sambar stag covers.

4) A swayback pattern, with coined brass liners, fluted bolsters, a file-worked back-spring, and Desert Ironwood covers.

The post is a conundrum at the moment everywhere. I took what i thought was a big risk and bought a book i was after from America, fully knowing that all postal services are under pressure at the moment. I have had parcels from America arrive with in 7 days in the past, the estimated arrival time for my current order is 4-7 weeks at best, i have been waiting for 5 weeks now, and i'm getting nervous. If it does go missing, i'm up the proverbial creek without a paddle. But i can only blame myself if it goes pear shaped, i knew the risk. I bought something online from a suburb 5 minutes away recently, after 2 weeks it is not looking good, the post cannot seem to find it, but the supplier has been fantastic, they are looking into it, and will replace the items if the post has lost them, do not have that luxury from America. To all guardians have a good weekend.
My wife has been waiting for a brush from England about 6 weeks now. Frustrating, I know.

Sorry for missing this Ron, great-looking Lambsfoot :)
Thanks Jack! :)

Thanks Ron, appreciate the compliment :thumbsup::)

Very nice David stag:thumbsup::thumbsup: the white contrasts well with the bark:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks Rob! :)

Maybe, this is something worth documenting, but I think I'll need some help! I think the very first SFOs I had made up were a small number (5,6, 10?) of Lambsfoot knives with ebony covers, a polished blade, and the 'Real Lamb Foot' etch? I don't have one of these myself, but maybe you do? I think I gave them away, the last of them being in my Bad Back Giveaway

After that, I had some Lambsfoot knives made up with some rather special Buffalo Horn covers. Again. I think these were just gifted, and I don't think there were more than half a dozen of them. Dennis posted a pic of one of them the other day, featured in Knife Magazine :)

Here is a special horn big'un that I got from you. I don't remember if you had it made up special or if you just picked it out at the factory! It was stunning, but warped up so bad I had Glenn turn it into Ironwood! :)
