Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

My wife went out to a friends brother-in-law’s house and picked a gallon of blueberries. Some of the bushes were about six feet high she said. Blueberries seem to grow well in this acidic soil we have around here. Looks like I will be eating lots of fruit for the next few days. :p

After that, I had some Lambsfoot knives made up with some rather special Buffalo Horn covers. Again. I think these were just gifted, and I don't think there were more than half a dozen of them. Dennis posted a pic of one of them the other day, featured in Knife Magazine :)
Got my Knife Magazine today. Good to see the lambsfoot there.:thumbsup:

My wife has been waiting for a brush from England about 6 weeks now. Frustrating, I know.

Overseas mail seems to have been particularly affected Vince, it's been a shambles  Hope your wife gets her brush soon

Here are some of your SFOs Jack Jack Black Jack Black

Here is a special horn big'un that I got from you. I don't remember if you had it made up special or if you just picked it out at the factory! It was stunning, but warped up so bad I had Glenn turn it into Ironwood! :)

Thanks so much Jack and Ron, it's great see all of these beautiful examples in one spot. It would have taken me 100s of pages of digging to find all of these!! :D

Couple more to come yet ;) If you check out post #1 in this thread, there's a link to the index for the early part of the the thread

Those are the ones I'm sorry I missed out on. :(
I was around then but didn't know about the order list I had to sign up for.

Good Morning Guardians, hoping everyone has made it through another week. Warm here already, with thunderstorms forecast for later in the day. Thought I'd carry my 2018 Ebony today, been a while since it's been in my pocket :) Have a good day Guardians :)

2019 saw the culmination of a longstanding project, in the form of the 'All-Iron' Hartshead Barlows. 21 were eventually made, with Rosewood covers, and 77 in Sambar stag, plus two more in Sambar, with file-work. They came in a hinged metal tin, with a small certificate, a Yorkshire Rose pin, and a slip handmade from vintage Yorkshire tweed.

It was only this time last year a few folks were begging for a break from the flurry of SFOs! In jest I'm sure

Just had some Beans on Toast for lunch :)

I'm 63. They'll probably last me.
Only 56 years till I crow over the ruins of my old church. Then a few more years to make it a little less obvious that the secret of my longevity is unpleasantness.

Jack, that's one classy lambfoot knife!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

In 2018, the demand for that year's Guardian's knives was much greater, and I had to have 2 runs done. They came in ebony with a fluted bolster, and special buffalo horn with a threaded bolster. The initial order was for 30 knives in ebony, and 20 knives in horn, but I ended up having to order extra ebony, 20 I think, but let me know if you can remember, I do have the figures in my order book ;) Once again, Dylan produced a special Guardians pocket slip

I'll always regret missing out on that ebony 2018.... I love the book!

Yeah. Even though I've been undergoing another mid-life crisis, so I 'm good for another 62 years.

You can afford two mid-life crises?! ;)

Quick... Get this man a pie crust!!!:thumbsup:

You were reaching new heights with the Ebony and Lined Bolsters.:thumbsup:

The pinnacle of Lambsfoot goodness.:thumbsup:

Lol... :D:thumbsup:
Is that a line from a book?
If not, it should be!!!

LOL! :D Thanks John, I don't understand why a cutlery firm would just keep plodding along producing the same patterns, year after year, and not altering them in any way, except for the worse

Good Morning Guardians and Happy Friday.

Cool cup  And your lovely ebony Waynorth Lambsfoot of course :)

Fantastic show of all the SFO knives Jack and Ron:eek::eek:great to see them all again:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Here's a few pics from yesterday's trip to the dog park. Flat land all around. Those big rocks make a nice back ground for knife pictures.

We like to do our part maintaining the park by watering the grass:rolleyes:
