Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Howdy Guardians. I was going to say my usual "Good Morning Guardians and anyone else looking in" but thought a change to "Howdy Guardians" would make a nice change.:) Can any of you tell I took a Happy Pill this morning? I don't feel a thing.

Great stuff Ed, a dark knife to go with your light mood ;)

It's slimming too. :D
Just look how thin the blade looks...

Good Morning Guardians, still wet here in Yorkshire, and I wonder if we're going to get a summer at all o_O Hope everyone is doing well. Thought I'd carry some Rosewood today
“Rain, rain, go away.” Hopefully the tea and the Hartshead brings you some comfort, Jack.

Good Morning Guardians
Great look at your WCLF, John.

Thanks a lot Harvey, I have just spent a couple of hours making up some new tarp lines with my Lambsfoot, so now my head is full of knots! ;) Time for a beer I think :)

Nice to see that Jonathan Crookes again my friend :)

Hope everyone is having as happy a day as Happy Day :) I've been quite busy today, I had some work to do (actual PAID work! :D), then cut up some more cardboard and put it in the bins, sorted out a load of camping stuff, did some household chores and tidied up a bit, got a shave and haircut, fixed my cooker door, as the rubber seal had come loose, and after tea I worked out a new tarp set-up and got everything together, put the bins out for collection tomorrow, made some sandwiches for my trip to the market, and got some stuff together to take with me. Still got a few things to do, but I'm going to sit down with a beer first :)

Heavenly horn quartet, Dylan!! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

Great photo of your Lambsfoot family!

Thank you so much for the kind compliments, fellas, and my apologies for the late acknowledgement.

We are entering a bit of a heat wave over here which has me less than excited - I like cooler weather. It is making me crave a nice misty morning like my picture below.

That's another really cool photo Dylan, great colours my friend :) I hope things don't get to hot for you

Thank you, Harvey. :)

Your pictures have cost me a lot of time.
I see your pictures of old lambs and think I really need to buy one.
Then I go hunting them and they just all end up looking like old used-up knives.
They need to have you do the photos for them and increase their sales. :D
Thank you John. For the laugh, too.:)

Thank you, Jack. I hope things don't get too cool and wet for you over there - it is supposed to be summer after all.

Thanks mate, it's hard to believe it's summer here, we have better weather in early March o_O

I haven't had a chance to catch up on this thread, hope everyone is doing well:thumbsup: I did see where @Modoc ED is released from wound care:thumbsup::thumbsup: Congratulations Ed:) hope your health continues to improve  this may be a recycled photo but it's from several years ago and now belongs to our host of this thread

I'll try to catch up with this thread tomorrow, but I thought I should at least check in tonight to report that I'm carrying my LamBarJack rosewood HHB this week. I'll also report that photography is still pretty much a mystery to me, although I do seem to get better knife pics in "good" natural light than I do when using flash. Here's a pair of photos I took recently on the west side of our house fairly early in the morning, so it was quite "shady" and my pointNshoot camera advised that I "RAISE THE FLASH". I took one without flash and one with flash; the results are amazingly different to me!

Nice choice Gary :) Those are interesting photos, I generally think that natural light gives a better photo than flash, but in lower light conditions, good focusing and a steady hand (or tripod) are more important. When I get back from my hikes, I often find that I have more photos where the knife is out of focus than where it is o_O

Good Morning Guardians, heading down to the market slightly later than usual to avoid the rush-hour, but I'll be off soon, with my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket :) Have a great day Guardians, and stay safe out there
