I just made this photo this morning. It’s not bad, but it looks just like a lot of the recent photos of this 2018 Ebony Guardians Lambsfoot.I think I need a new background! I’ll add that to my “To Do” list!
Y’all stay safe out there!

There’s been a lot of “Muggy” around here lately Bill!Good morning Guardians. Another sunny morning but hot and muggy. When I went outside to take this photo the camera lens fogged up. Not surprising as all my windows are coated with condensate....like I said "muggy" is the word for outside today. Managed to clean it relatively well and take this shot of my HHB.

Hard to resist the pull of the Big 'Un, especially with that swell breakfast, Jack.
Thank you Ron. Your Guardian Ebony Lamb Foot is fine looking, no matter the background

Had to Google pillar drill LoL... never heard that term beforeI've been catching up with a few jobs in the house today, and the furthest I've been is the bottle-bank!I did have a nice long chat with my neighbour though
It's market day tomorrow, but I'm intending to go down a bit later than usual, as I'm going to stay down there with my pal until he shuts up his stall, and then he's giving me a lift back with the pillar drill I bought from him last week. Tonight, I've got a couple of new beers from my local Saltaire brewery
Hope everyone is having a good day

Had to Google pillar drill LoL... never heard that term beforeSo, that thing out in my shed is a pillar drill, thanks for clearing that up my friend.
I don’t know where the term originated Jack. Around here it refers to humidity so thick and sticky you can cut it with a butter knife!I always think of 'Muggy' as a real old-fashioned Yorkshire word! Clearly not![]()

I've used it all my life here in south Texas, where it's muggy all the time! Sitting in my car right now in bloody muggy heat while my daughter is getting a haircut. Then I gotta put on a bloody mask on this muggy day to go in and pay!LOL!I just did a quick search, and it seems that it comes from Old Norse mugen or mugga, via Middle English, and is first recorded as 'muggy' in 1746. Like many words with Old Norse roots, it is recorded here as a Yorkshire dialect word. I was fascinated to see it used here on The Porch, I wouldn't have used it myself for fear that barely anyone would have known what I was talking about!
