My parents went camping in Devon as part of their honeymoon, and came back from a walk to find a large sow had got into their tent, and had eaten all their food, making its self ill in the process! I don't know if my mother's cooking was involved

Really funny story jack, I am sure it's one of those that get told at family reunions every now and them lol

This is not only my most beautiful Lamb Foot I have but one of the most beautiful knives I have period.

Eventually Harewood House could be seen off in the far distance.

We continued on across the open footpath, which was busy with family day-trippers.

We turned into more dense woodland again for the last couple of miles of our walk.

Emerging from the wood, onto the road, we walked past the grand entrance to the big house, and decided to call in for a well-earned pint, and something to eat at the village pub. Great way to end a great day out

That looked like the perfect day for a Yorkshire ramble Jack. Great pics!

Thank you Jack. Don’t think it could hold a candle to yours. The Hartshead looks great in its’ outdoor habitat.

As an aside, I came across a Telly crime drama, and have been binging ever since. It’s called DCI Banks. Takes place in Yorkshire. Lots of crime solving, lots of Pubs, and of course, lots of beautiful countryside. You probably know it. I mention it, because it feels like I’m getting some measure of the culture.

How does Detective Chief Inspector Banks afford this spread?

I think you could give me a good run Harvey! Thank you very much I've not seen that Harvey, but I'll bet my girlfriend has, she watches all those shows, everything from Agatha Christie right up to the present day That looks like a good spread, it brings to mind a certain musical instrument!

That's good news Harvey! I once had a college lecturer who collected club and school ties. He had a few 'unofficial' police department ties, and I remember the London Fraud Squad tie had fiddles on it

Good morning Guardians. Another sunny morning but hot and muggy. When I went outside to take this photo the camera lens fogged up. Not surprising as all my windows are coated with condensate....like I said "muggy" is the word for outside today. Managed to clean it relatively well and take this shot of my HHB.
