Would you mind sharing the handle material on that one Jack? I'm vexed, and 2017 is way before my time here...

Haven't checked in for a while, but another thread got me thinking about pulling out the lamb. Gave her a spa day, polished the bolsters, blade, and treated the handle scales to a little BLO. 15974058110781671663799.jpg

Hi Willie,

Great to see you here, that was a special grade 'Super Duper' buffalo horn used on the first Guardians edition Lambsfoot SFO in 2017. I'll post some more pics below. Nice choice for the day my friend :) :thumbsup:

Today’s Friday! :thumbsup: Before I retired it used to mean the weekend was just around the corner! :cool: Now it most often means Ebony and I do love Ebony. ;) Today I’ve got my Jack Black Special in deep dark rich Ebony! Jack I’m so sorry you had back problems! :( But I’m really glad I won this Ebony beauty in your GAW! :D Y’all have a great day and stay safe out there wherever you’re at! :) :thumbsup:

Many thanks, despite the back problems, I really enjoyed that giveaway, wanted to say thanks for all the kindness I received here :) Nice to see that one again, there was some really great ebony available back then :) Thanks again pal, doing my best :) :thumbsup:

Thanks to you Jack, for your efforts in making these horn beauties available. The ‘17s had some of the sweetest horn of any knives available anywhere! :thumbsup: I was thrilled when I won that GAW Jack! The Ebony available during those years was great. I have some domestic folders from ‘13 and ‘14 that have Ebony the same quality as my Lambsfoot. Very rich and dark with almost a buttery type smoothness to the touch. Just so you know, Ebony is in my top three favorite cover materials! ;) :D
