Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Crisis averted today, I was in a panic getting ready for work today, my Lambsfoot wasn’t were it should have been. I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it, everyone here knows that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you lose a knife. I had to leave for work without it but my Granddaughter knew what was going on. A few minutes ago I received a text from her “found it”.

she’s a great kid one day it will be hers.

Thank you for the kind words on my Ebony Lambs and my photo Jack! I love all my Lambs, but I’ve developed a soft spot for my Ebony Lambs in general. It looks as though your mate has his tool stall well stocked! I hope you and David @donn have a terrific visit Jack! Has David had hands on a Charlie Lambsfoot before? If not, I bet he’ll be impressed! My best to you both for a great weekend! :)

Looking good Bill! You and your Hartshead have a great day! :)
Thanks Ron. Hope your day goes well too.:)

Ron you are so right there, i guess it's so silly to be upset over something like this, but we have all been there. i lost a wire frame Jack knife going on 30 years ago and i still get upset over that one. i can always count on my granddaughter though, she likes traditional knive as much as i do, not expected from a 12 year old.

Good morning Guardians, I'm up with the birds today. Heck, I'm up before the birds this morning:D. Got a busy day and need to get an early start.

I can understand that my friend :) Yeah, he packs a lot onto that little stall. Before the lockdown, when he could get hold of stock more easily, he had even more  Thanks again Ron, I have just got back. It was great to see David, but two very long bus journeys, wearing a mask, turned it into quite an ordeal, and it rained almost all the time I was in Harrogate. David had to contend with heavy traffic, and it'll probably be even worse for him going back. We didn't have time for much else apart from a chip butty, hastily eaten, while we sheltered from the rain, but David got his hands on my Charlie Lamb for a few minutes, so I'll leave him to give his impressions :) Have a great weekend yourself pal :)

I’m Back in Black for Friday! Y’all be safe out there and have a blessed weekend! :)

I lost a knife nearly 50 years ago, and it still irks me! o_O  That's nice about your granddaughter :)

Thanks Jack! :) Even a short visit with a good friend has to better than no visit at all during these times! ;)

I've taken to wandering round my mate's tool-stall ;)
And why wouldn't you!!! That is a tool stand, lots a cool stuff:cool: There is not enough of them left anymore, they are much better than the multi national conglomerates, so enjoy those stalls while they are left my friend.:D British made spanners for a quid, that is if my eyes are not failing me. Have a good weekend, mate,

I wanted to share this updated family portrait of my Ebony Lambsfoot knives with y'all! :)

Nice to see photos of the famous tool stall, Jack! Looks like the kind of place a guy could spend a fair amount of time digging around for treasures. :D

Good Morning Guardians, hope everyone has had a good week :) Circumstances have given me the opportunity to meet up with @donn today, for a couple of hours, so I'm looking forward to that, in spite of the rather miserable weather here. To celebrate I'm having a Double Lambsfoot Day ;) Have a good Friday Guardians, the weekend is almost upon us :)

Jack, that’s cool that you were able to meet up with David. I hope you both had an enjoyable visit (despite the poor weather and travel frustrations).

Glad your Yorkshire Day Giveaway prize made it Henry :) Your photo clinches your membership, welcome to the Guardians :) Hope you like the Lambsfoot pattern as much of the rest of us do

Good Morning Guardians! Hope everyone is doing OK. No hike for me today I'm afraid (a combination of poor weather and other commitments), but I'm sure I'll still have a use for my trusty Hartshead Barlow. Have a great weekend Guardians
