Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I’ll round up my Ebony’s for a family portrait in a few Jack! ;) It looks like you’re off to a fast start pal. Have a great day! :)

Nice one Ron, I'll have to get mine together :)

That is terrible. I'd throw my TV away. I did cancel my cable service, and watch very little. Going to be singing the Beatles' Taxman today.

I think it was even worse in the past Vince, when more folks watched TV than they do today. I once read that it was the number one reason for women here going to prison o_O I have a TV, but I have de-tuned the channels, and removed the aerial, so that it cannot receive a signal, and I just watch DVDs. Even so, not a week goes by without me receiving an officious letter demanding to know why I don't have a TV license  I don't have a shotgun, but I don't get letters demanding to know why I don't have a shotgun license o_O

Nice photo of you HHB Jack. Hope you have/had a good trip to the market:thumbsup:

Good morning Guardians and all. Our string of soggy days continue but at least the sun pokes its head out every so often.:D My stag HHB has been with me everyday now. I'm starting to believe that maybe I will thin out my collection (small as it is) because I just don't give them the love that I used to give them.o_O

Thank you very much Bill, nice weather here today, but I think it's set to rain for several days now :( I hope you get some better weather there soon  Nice clean shot of your Hartshead Barlow there :)

Good morning Guardians! I’ve got my WCLF in Antique Autumn Jigged Bone today. Y’all have a great day and stay safe out there! :)

Beautiful knife Ron :)

Prison! Ridiculous. It's about money; why not make it a fine? Or slap a licensing fee on computers?

IRAFukE.jpg

It's a unique situation Jer, they don't fine anyone for not paying their utility bills. The lack of choice is the main reason I resent the fee so much, that and the general mediocrity of the programming, while they waste public money on countless stupid things, and fat salaries for their executives (£450,000 a year for the BBC Director General) o_O Clever photo my friend

I apologize for losing quotes on my last post, gentlemen. I can only multi quote on my PC, so sometimes it takes awhile for me to get computer time here at home. Apologies to @btb01 , @5K Qs , @cigarrodog , Jack Black Jack Black and anyone else I missed.

.....

Wow, Mark! Beautiful work!

Big Eb inspired me to get out my Ebony trio for a couple photos.

Thanks for the nice words, Barrett! Your group of Ebony looks fantastic!

.....

Great to see you're here Mark, hope you're doing OK my friend :) That's a fantastic deck, I'd love a deck like that, well done :) Thanks a lot Mark, not much takes me by surprise these days, but that did :( I am amazed how many blackberries I've got this year, the patch is about 16ft by 4ft I would reckon. Makes me think I've been lazy in the past! :D Thanks again, and I hope that you do too pal :)

.....
Thanks a lot, Jack! 16 x 4 is a nice patch, about the same as my Raspberries. We have had some good stretches of mid 90 degree (F) days this whole summer and the Raspberries don't seem to care for the hot weather, not producing as well as years past, this year.

Mark, that is one serious deck. Great craftsmanship too:thumbsup:. You lamb foot knife fits in well with the job:D

Nice photo of you HHB Jack. Hope you have/had a good trip to the market:thumbsup:

Thanks for the compliment, Bill, much appreciated! Your HHB has such a beautiful color, seems to almost "glow".

Can you guess what brand of cordless tool I like, ha!:D Almost always with my 2019 Ironwood sfo.

Well, I went to go pull my Ebony Lambsfoot knives out for a group pic and then I realized I only have two currently...

So, instead, I scooped up my Hartshead and headed out to my garden. 2020 has been such a strange year and my garden kind of reflects that as well. Things that did so well last year aren't doing so hot this year. That said, the tomatoes and zucchini are doing excellent and I just discovered that I have some cucumbers that are growing as well. I also have a pumpkin that is getting along very fine - I will be making a pie with that one (I make a stellar pumpkin pie :D).

I let my blackberry patch grow a bit this season and I've been enjoying the fruit these past couple of weeks. Also, I planted two apple trees in the spring and one of them (a honeycrisp) decided to produce around 10 or so apples. I picked a few to relieve some stress on the branches and even enjoyed one with my breakfast - excellent stuff.

Fantastic, Ron! I knew you had some terrific Ebony, I did not know you had such an excellent and extensive lineup of Lambs all dressed out in it. Fine stuff, indeed!
Thank you for the kind words Dylan! I do love Ebony! :)

Great stag Hartshead Dylan. A lovely photo showing your homegrown harvest. That’s a wonderful resource my friend! :)

" Great Minds Think Alike". Firstly, hope all Guardians have a good and safe weekend.:) Getting back to " Great Minds", i have something for all you ladies and gentleman out there to ponder. We all love knifes, and tools and stuff, we all like whiling away time in a hardware or tool shop, since we have been in lockdown, we have only been able to go to a hardware store, tell them what we want, get directions to as where it is, go and get it, and get out. No, meandering aimlessly around looking at stuff, which we all love. A conundrum, could this be the new norm, or at least until a vaccine is discovered? No more just wandering into a hardware, tool store just 'cause ya can, and just looking at stuff for what seems an eternity, this could be the end of civilization as we know it. Thoughts please, and everyone take care.:)

I wanted to share this updated family portrait of my Ebony Lambsfoot knives with y'all! :)

Great to see you here Mark :) That's a nice patch of raspberries. When I was a kid we'd go to gather wild raspberries too, but I can't remember the last time I saw more than the odd one growing here, a real shame. Cool pic buddy, looks like you and your Lambsfoot are busy there

It sure has been a strange year Dylan  Sounds like you've still had a decent crop though pal, I love that photograph :)

Congratulations on your first Lambsfoot, and welcome to the Guardians :)

Good Morning Guardians, hope everyone has had a good week :) Circumstances have given me the opportunity to meet up with @donn today, for a couple of hours, so I'm looking forward to that, in spite of the rather miserable weather here. To celebrate I'm having a Double Lambsfoot Day ;) Have a good Friday Guardians, the weekend is almost upon us :)

Thank you for the kind words on my Ebony Lambs and my photo Jack! I love all my Lambs, but I’ve developed a soft spot for my Ebony Lambs in general. It looks as though your mate has his tool stall well stocked! I hope you and David @donn have a terrific visit Jack! Has David had hands on a Charlie Lambsfoot before? If not, I bet he’ll be impressed! My best to you both for a great weekend! :)

Good morning Guardians, I'm up with the birds today. Heck, I'm up before the birds this morning:D. Got a busy day and need to get an early start.
