Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Right before this picture the knife fell off and hit the ground....of course right on the tip.....

This zuchini will be stuffed with some pork sausage we just picked up from the butcher. Also, with some tomato sauce and cheese!

Good day, Jack and everyone.
Here is the latest deck I've just finished.
Lots of pencil sharpening for my JB Ironwood sfo.

Jack, sorry to see you have to deal with some of the pettiness that seems to be directed your way, recently. Seems undeserved.
I've enjoyed your recent hiking photos and your crumble looks delicious! 23 lbs is a serious haul! Have a great day and rest of your week, my friend.

Thanks for the link David, that's a good range  My watch actually came with a strap as well as the bracelet, so maybe I'll change them over. I ended up looking at those watches though, and nearly bought one. MWC watches seemed to get a lot of flack on watch forums though, not sure if it's justified or not  Nice Lambsfoot and SPAS 12 pic

Nice one Jack. I'm not in the market for another watch; it was a replacement strap I was looking for. I always thought MWC watches had a good reputation though maybe not.
SPAS 12 got sold a few months back now.

Funny. :D:thumbsup:

Getting sorted for a weekend away in Yorkshire.

I love that name Big Eb, he sounds like he should have a 'Wanted' poster! :D

“Big Eb” sounds like the kind of guy I would’ve worked with at my old bus driving job back in Arkansas. There were a lot of good ol’ boys working there, many of them retired truck drivers. Come to think of it, I think there was a guy there they called “Big Ed.” :D

When I was a kid, there were only two TV channels here, the BBC (no commercials, funded by a compulsory license fee), and ITV (commercials, free to watch, but if you own a TV, you're forced to pay the BBC's license fee, even if you don't watch it) or Independent Television, which was made up of numerous smaller regional companies, one of which was Yorkshire Television  I hope I've got that right! :D

The first time my brother and his family came back to visit us after moving to England, they wanted us to watch something on the BBC. We went to the website (using a VPN with a UK IP address) and it asked, “Do you have a TV license?” I selected yes, expecting my brother would have to input some additional information, but apparently answering yes was sufficient. :)

Ouch! Bad luck Taylor, but of course that's always where it land! At least it didn't break off, and hopefully you can shave some off the nose to put it right again :) That's a heck of a zucchini! Bon appetit

Great to see you're here Mark, hope you're doing OK my friend :) That's a fantastic deck, I'd love a deck like that, well done :) Thanks a lot Mark, not much takes me by surprise these days, but that did :( I am amazed how many blackberries I've got this year, the patch is about 16ft by 4ft I would reckon. Makes me think I've been lazy in the past! :D Thanks again, and I hope that you do too pal :)

I think that might have been IWC or CWC  I think you told me about the SPAS 12, certainly iconic  Hope you have a great weekend my friend :)

I always heard “pram” was short for “perambulator.” How that would apply to a boat, I have no idea, but I’ll bet Google does.

I always thought “pram” was short for “perambulator.” Wikipedia suggests the boat may come from “praam”, Dutch for a flat-bottomed boat.

Very interesting, your Google-fu is strong my friend ;) :)

View attachment 1402150 Good morning Guardians and all. Yet another soggy day...depressing. Now I understand what it must be like living in the UK:D:D:D Sorry Jack, just kidding. Going to keep my HHB inside and taking something in stainless outside.

LOL! Yeah, and it chucked it down today here Bill! :D Attractive photos there :)

Such a stupid system. I was having a quiet game of Trivial Pursuit with a girlfriend 20 years ago, when two 'heavies' turned up on my doorstep demanding to see my TV license. I made the mistake of letting them in to verify I didn't need one, which I certainly won't ever do again. Subsequently, the BBC demanded to know why I didn't have a TV license, and I had to exchange several letters before they finally accepted I didn't need one. At least once a week since then I have had some officious correspondence from them, often using some form of subterfuge, threatening me with all sorts of (often concocted) consequences for not buying a TV license. If BBC Towers ever burns to the ground, I'll be raising a glass!

Big Eb inspired me to get out my Ebony trio for a couple photos.

I love Ebony Barrett and it only took me two days to name my new big’un, “Big Eb”! ;) I see you’re the proud owner of one too. That’s a beautiful trio there Barrett! I realize I need an Ebony family portrait! Sounds like something to add to my list for tomorrow! :D

Jack Black Jack Black I was able to save it best I could tip is intact, also put a new edge on it and sharpened a handful of others in my collection.

I may post a picture of the finished zuchini later today.

Well done Taylor :) Hope you enjoyed your zucchini :)

Yes, or if you watch BBC programmes on a laptop or PC. For decades, it's been a major reason why people, often women, are sent to prison here!

Nice photo of you HHB Jack. Hope you have/had a good trip to the market:thumbsup:

Good morning Guardians and all. Our string of soggy days continue but at least the sun pokes its head out every so often.:D My stag HHB has been with me everyday now. I'm starting to believe that maybe I will thin out my collection (small as it is) because I just don't give them the love that I used to give them.o_O

Thanks for the kind words Jack. Don't know exactly what happened with my post and the duplicate photos:oops: but I edited the dup out. Been getting some strange things happening with the posting/replying/liking process here on the forum.
