  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Going out today to shop for a conversion kit to convert my emergency generator over to natural gas. Pretty easy to do the actual work so it will be a DIY and at my side will be my HHB.

Conversion of your emergency generator to natural gas may seem to be a good idea until during your emergency, the utility company shuts off the natural gas. Have you looked into a dual fuel conversion kit?

That's a cool photo Jer :)
Thanks. The toy stove is a repro maybe 50 years old. The tiny flatiron and trivet were always around, and I suspect were a toy of Mom's, probably inherited from one or both of her older sisters.

The piggy bank goes back that far, too.

I remember taking one of those old flat irons into school as a youngster for an 'antiques' exhibition being put on :) It's nice you have all these old family keepsakes Jer :)

Enjoy Vince ;) Hope you're having a good day my friend :)
Yes, thanks. At barber shop right now!
Jim Morrison for me. Maybe I'm not the oldest rocker on the porch.

I like Morrison too, and he's more my generation. But no one can touch Sinatra in my opinion. Not just the voice, but what he could do with it. Just amazing to me. We all have our favourites.

Good stuff Vince, I need to get the clippers out myself  Not the same of course :(

Nice pic of your AC, did you Flitz it?

Yes, I Flitzed the AC. The rosewood lambsfoot has patina, though.

Nice to see the etch survived OK Vince :)

Man, I felt old in the ambulance and the hospital.

"...63-year-old man..."
"Hey! Why, I oughta... Oh. Never mind."
It sounds worse when somebody else says it.

You ok Jer? Age always takes you by surprise doesn't it? :(

I throw in a selection for best female singer, i am not necessarily saying she was the best performer, but she had one of the best voices i have ever heard, and i know she won't be everyone's cup of tea. " Connie Francis" . Her first hit, which she did not personally like, Who's Sorry now, shows how she could just hold a note. Have a great weekend.:)

I've always been a sucker for a female voice, and Connie Francis certainly had a good one

Oh, I'm fine. Just that dehydration thing. My first time in an ambulance was bumpy enough that I was reminded of Deadmeat's ambulance ride in Hot Shots.
But being summarized as a 63-year-old man: not a young-for-his-age 63, or a remarkably well-preserved 63, or you won't believe 63, or 63, but a lot of life in him yet, or we should all look so good at twice 63, or a distinguished gentleman approaching middle age.
Next time I'll tell them I'm 45.

I feel your pain brother! :D ;)
