Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

My entry into the lambsfoot world. A. Wright with left handed nail nick. From what I gather this is a pretty good example. Sturdy pull and good action. I carried it at work all last week. The handle shape feels good in the hand. Funny thing is that I've wanted a knife with a left handed nick. But when using it I instinctively flip it over and open with my right hand. Here it is as received, and then after I put an edge on it and carried for a week.

Welcome, you have a nice one there, and you sound as if you really like it, and it's your Lambsfoot, and that is all that matters. Have a good weekend.;).

You inspired me!!! Saw your work, and knowing that Chin is a big fan, did some research. I had a go yesterday with one of my work knives, so if i mucked it up would not be a big deal. I am very happy with the result, and looking forward to see how the edge holds up. My photos cannot show how sharp the end result is, but believe me, it is sharp.
Hope all the Guardians have a good weekend, and anyone in the hurricane area please take care, i am sure all on the "Porch" are thinking of you.

Nice work  That train track looks just like the track from a train-set I mentioned in a post yesterday :D Hope you have a good weekend too mate :)

Great to see your here Dwight :) Fab pic of your DamLamb my friend :)

Good evening, Guardians.

I'm having a sip of this raspberry ale that I found at the market today. I usually like the Samuel Smith stuff but had not tried this one yet. Just on the other side of my deck railing is a patch of yellow raspberries that I planted earlier this spring - they are just starting to produce.

Welcome to the Guardians Dave, I hope you take to the Lambsfoot pattern :) That looks like a decent example. I always find it interesting that a small firm like Wright's can produce left-handed models, whereas much bigger firms don't  Just Lambsfoot knives in this thread though please (see my first post). If you could edit out the lower pic, it'd be appreciated

Edit - Much appreciated Dave :)

Good Morning Guardians! Hopefully, we've all survived another week. Wet, cold, and windy here again today, but I have work to do in the house anyway. Have a good one folks, it'll soon be the weekend ;)

Going black today ;)

Nice one! Welcome to the lambsfoot pattern, and I look forward to hearing your impresses you use it more.

Going out today to shop for a conversion kit to convert my emergency generator over to natural gas. Pretty easy to do the actual work so it will be a DIY and at my side will be my HHB.

Sounds like a worthwhile project Bill, hope it all goes smoothly :) I'm engaged with my own gas-related project at the moment - cleaning the stove!  Always good to see your trusty Hartshead Barlow :)

Thanks Jack. We currently use and electric cook-top but my wife hates it so we are converting over to NG for that too.

I share your wife's feelings Bill, I've had electric cookers a couple of times many years ago, but much prefer cooking on gas
I've had a couple electrics, and was impressed how fast the oven heated. Somewhere I had an electric stove and a thin Revere-ware skillet that I had to prop up with a coffee-mug under the handle, to get enough contact with the "burner".

If I outlive my extant stove, I'll go with an induction cook-top. Safer for a geezer.

Good Morning Guardians and anyone else looking in.

Was admiring the stag on this Harrison Bros. last evening and thought I'd show it again this morning. I'll not carry it today but rather delegate it to desk duty.

Thanks to all for my birthday well wishes yesterday.
