Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

To a fine Yorkshire girl...
May she rest in peace.

Absolutely. I don't think they make them like that anymore. :(

It seems that the wildfire that presents a more immediate threat to my household has been growing in other directions besides mine. Still, we are continuing to be wary and vigilant and are prepared to bug out should the need arise. In the meantime, life goes on - staying indoors as much as possible due to the debilitating air quality. I've already developed a cough - it's none too pleasant.

The past several weeks has found me experimenting with a different [CENSORED] so it was quite pleasant to have my daughter bring a package to me in my office. Since I had a Lambsfoot within easy reach on my desk, I used that to open the parcel up - having not put one to any meaningful use for a few weeks, it was pure delight to experience again. The Lambsfoot is unmatched in everyday utility.

In the parcel was a fine copy of one of Sir Walter Scott's Waverly novels - Kenilworth - it will make a fine addition to my library. Before I put it in its place on the bookshelf, I thought I might use it for a photo opportunity with a fine Single Malt (a recently discovered favorite of my wife's) and a Waynorth Lambsfoot.

Good luck sir.
And thanks for the reading suggestion. I've never read any Scott but with winter approaching I'm casting about for some new classic authors.

From a walk on Thursday.

The weekend is here, not that it makes the slightest bit of difference to me whatsoever. Hoping everyone is safe and well and got a nice Saturday planned.

Thanks my friend. I always enjoy your pics with the old tools in the background.
I decided that my stag HHB shouldn't go through life without knowing what it is like to get up early and drag its butt to work. ;)

Well by golly Half/Stop Half/Stop Ron, I'll join you and carry my Patina enhanced Rosewood "Big un" this morning.

Ed there’s nothing wrong with a big ‘un and being patina enhanced! If there was I would have been in trouble a long time ago! While I love them all, I actually prefer a larger lambsfoot for a daily EDC! :)

Stay safe Dylan  That smoke sounds both unpleasant and unhealthy though o_O Nice to see you back with a Lambsfoot ;) Nice photo my friend, one of the most enjoyable Malts I've had was the first bottle of Aberlour A'Bunadh I was bought as a birthday gift about 10 years ago

Just to prove i have far too much time on my hands, just noticed page 2200 on the Gaurdians.o_O

Well spotted ;)

We get all kinds of weird stuff on the northern moors! ;) A friend was telling me how she took some students from Leeds on a field-trip, and some of them had never seen cows before! o_O I wondered if they might be more familiar with llamas

I figured either they're testing robot vacuum-cleaners, or Kevin's Hartshead Barlow just got married! Rotten to have allergies Dan, but those sure are great pics :)

I’m carrying this ole patinated PD big ‘un today. :)

Howdy Dan. I work in a plastics warehouse so that stuff on the ground is plastic chips from the routing of the plastic. I have to say that the plastic chips are not nearly as scenic as your nature backgrounds. :D

Here is another shot of the HHB and one of the Ironwood with more plastic shavings.

Great one Jer. They've become quite popular over here. There reared for their wool as I understand it's quite valuable.

Thanks for sharing those Jack, looks like a great day out. Yorkshire at her finest and fruitful. It's looking quite green there but the leaves are beginning to turn around us now.
And is that an ancient cross in the second to last photo?

If there was any doubt that i was losing it, i am just about to dispel any of those doubts.o_O
Just want to prove how popular the Lambsfoot thread actually is with facts and figures. I would doubt any other thread on the forum would be able to match these numbers, there may be one or two that have bigger numbers but they have been around for a lot longer.
