Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I love the scene in Annie Hall where Woody Allen pushes the mime in the park.

LOL! :D Good to see your Hartshead Barlow Vince

Ron, Big Rosie is looking mighty fine:D

Good morning Guardians and all! It's a sunny Monday morning here in Coastal NC. Humidity is down and cooler morning temperature make for a very pleasant outdoors. Got my HHB ready for some chores.;)

Thanks Bill! Hope you’ve had a good day! :)

Thanks buddy, well the first delivery wasn't an easy one. The driver was 2 hours late, turned up in a small car, with all my groceries inside, and the frozen stuff defrosted. My house is at least 35 yards from the road, and when the car pulled up, since the driver looked completely lost, I went out to see if she needed directions. She then told me she had my delivery, and since it contained some bottles of wine, demanded to see some ID to verify I was over 18! I went back to the house, got my passport, and went back outside, and she was still taking the bags out of the car. I picked up two from the pavement, and carried them back to the house. When I turned round, she was just stood there, and I ended up having to make 4 trips to deliver my own delivery. She even walked up to the front door to take a photo at one point, walking right past me carrying the bags! I think she's in the wrong job o_O My other deliveries are now coming this evening, rather than this morning

Good to see Big Rosie Ron
I certainly hope she gave you a good tip Jack! Sounds as if she has a really bright future, being that she’s such an ambitious and hard working individual. She’s probably a good management candidate! Thanks for the Rosie compliment Jack! :)

Jack Black Jack Black Thanks for posting your hiking pics. It's always nice to see that beautiful country.

Fantastic photo!

Ireland isn't the first place I'd think of in relation to Chocolate/Coconut Porters, but a tasty beverage nonetheless  No driving for me tonight ;)

Oskar Blues makes some good stuff (and also some rather odd stuff). I haven’t tried that one. I didn’t know you could get any of their beers over there. I imagine it didn’t come cheap! :D

Here’s something particularly odd they brewed recently.

Cool photo, Dwight! That car’s actual size, right?

Nice shot of your HHB.

:D :D

Oh, I'm not scared of them, I just hate them! :D And mimes. And jugglers

How do you feel about living statues? ;)

Cool pic Dwight, that's some nice stag there

Yeah, I doubt she'll last more than a day or two o_O Apart from anything else, 3 drops in 2 hours, all within a mile radius?! I imagine I'm not the only unhappy customer o_O

I've had other beers of theirs on occasion Barrett, though I can't remember what exactly. Certainly not Mustard Beer! :D The Coconut Porter was around a fiver (£5) for a small can, so no, definitely not cheap

No, I don't like living statues either! :D

I would try that.
I like pretzels with beer, and I like mustard on pretzels. Ergo, Ipso facto, I would probably enjoy mustard beer.

What movie is that clip from? Hot Fuzz?

I have a strong dislike for living statues ever since a very unpleasant encounter with one in New York a few years ago. Actually, he was more of a "mechanical man" than a "living statue" but I consider them pretty much the same thing.
I do enjoy a good juggling act, though.

Last week, I posted a picture of my Lambsfoot flock, and Modoc ED Modoc ED noticed that I didn't have a Hartshead Barlow in stag. So he very kindly sent one. Thank you, Ed!

It's really lovely, with great stag, and just enough patina that I'm not tempted to keep it on the shelf. ;)

I'll have to take some new pictures of the full line-up, but here it is with its Rosewood mate:

Jack Black Jack Black , you sure did a good job riding herd on Wrights to get these made so well. :)

My pleasure Rachel. I'm sure it will get more use from you than it did from me and besides, it was needing a mate to keep it company.

You're right!!! Jack Jack Black Jack Black did one heck of a job coordinating with A. Wright and shepherding them along to bring the Guardians a great knife - back from the Past so-to-speak. Very well made knives.:)

Absolutely wonderful to see this thread back up with so many great pictures and old friends present.
Was out for a lovely motorcycle ride on Sunday, and an old Taylors Eye Witness performed well at lunch time.
The delicious meal was served at an outdoor patio with a beautiful view to my right.
Walking, biking, and sailing, everyone was enjoying a nice day.

I would try it too. But then again, I like milk and I like butter, so I thought I would like buttermilk. NOT! I had to spew it out. I'd still give the mustard beer a shot.

Modoc ED Modoc ED is a generous fellow. He must have noticed I only had the stag Hartshead Barlow. I got this in my mailbox a little while ago:

With a 1946 penny. Beautiful knife, with a little patina. Been keeping my stag knife clean, but I put this one to work right away:

You're welcome Vince and I can't think of a better chore than slicing Spam with it.

Jack Black did a wonderful job putting those knives together. It was a real service to us all.

I’m not sure I entirely agree with your logic, but would certainly give it a try. :D (I love all sorts of mustards, on a variety of foods, I just don’t know that I want to drink it!)

What movie is that clip from? Hot Fuzz?

Yep.

Thanks Barret! And apparently one of Jack's all-time most favorite automobiles...;) :D

Having met Jack in person, I will say that I don’t think those cars were made for folks of his stature (nor mine, for that matter). :D Maybe we should’ve rented one to drive around Sheffield. That would’ve been a sight!
