Thanks Bill! Hope you’ve had a good day!Ron, Big Rosie is looking mighty fine
Good morning Guardians and all! It's a sunny Monday morning here in Coastal NC. Humidity is down and cooler morning temperature make for a very pleasant outdoors. Got my HHB ready for some chores.

I certainly hope she gave you a good tip Jack! Thanks buddy, well the first delivery wasn't an easy one. The driver was 2 hours late, turned up in a small car, with all my groceries inside, and the frozen stuff defrosted. My house is at least 35 yards from the road, and when the car pulled up, since the driver looked completely lost, I went out to see if she needed directions. She then told me she had my delivery, and since it contained some bottles of wine, demanded to see some ID to verify I was over 18! I went back to the house, got my passport, and went back outside, and she was still taking the bags out of the car. I picked up two from the pavement, and carried them back to the house. When I turned round, she was just stood there, and I ended up having to make 4 trips to deliver my own delivery. She even walked up to the front door to take a photo at one point, walking right past me carrying the bags! I think she's in the wrong jobMy other deliveries are now coming this evening, rather than this morning
Good to see Big Rosie Ron![]()
Wishing I'd never let Slick Slicer have my Snakey Lambfoot! ) :View attachment 1418794
Ireland isn't the first place I'd think of in relation to Chocolate/Coconut Porters, but a tasty beverage nonethelessNo driving for me tonight

Bahahahahah!!!
I certainly hope she gave you a good tip Jack!Sounds as if she has a really bright future, being that she’s such an ambitious and hard working individual. She’s probably a good management candidate!
Thanks for the Rosie compliment Jack!

Oskar Blues makes some good stuff (and also some rather odd stuff). I haven’t tried that one. I didn’t know you could get any of their beers over there. I imagine it didn’t come cheap!![]()
Here’s something particularly odd they brewed recently.

How do you feel about living statues?
I would try that. Here’s something particularly odd they brewed recently.

What movie is that clip from? Hot Fuzz? How do you feel about living statues?![]()
I have a strong dislike for living statues ever since a very unpleasant encounter with one in New York a few years ago. Actually, he was more of a "mechanical man" than a "living statue" but I consider them pretty much the same thing. No, I don't like living statues either!![]()
Last week, I posted a picture of my Lambsfoot flock, andModoc ED noticed that I didn't have a Hartshead Barlow in stag. So he very kindly sent one. Thank you, Ed!

It's really lovely, with great stag, and just enough patina that I'm not tempted to keep it on the shelf.

I'll have to take some new pictures of the full line-up, but here it is with its Rosewood mate:

Jack Black , you sure did a good job riding herd on Wrights to get these made so well.

Thanks Barret! And apparently one of Jack's all-time most favorite automobiles...Cool photo, Dwight! That car’s actual size, right?
Thanks mate. Those barlows are a most handsome lot. I am so thankful for all of the sfo's you provided us. Seriously grateful.Cool pic Dwight, that's some nice stag there
I would try it too. But then again, I like milk and I like butter, so I thought I would like buttermilk. NOT! I had to spew it out. I'd still give the mustard beer a shot.I would try that.
I like pretzels with beer, and I like mustard on pretzels. Ergo, Ipso facto, I would probably enjoy mustard beer.

Modoc ED is a generous fellow. He must have noticed I only had the stag Hartshead Barlow. I got this in my mailbox a little while ago:

With a 1946 penny. Beautiful knife, with a little patina. Been keeping my stag knife clean, but I put this one to work right away:
Thanks, Ed!![]()

Absolutely wonderful to see this thread back up with so many great pictures and old friends present.
Was out for a lovely motorcycle ride on Sunday, and an old Taylors Eye Witness performed well at lunch time.
The delicious meal was served at an outdoor patio with a beautiful view to my right.
Walking, biking, and sailing, everyone was enjoying a nice day.
