Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Small knife, it's 3" closed. A hundred bucks an inch closed  . Nearly a lamb foot peanut ;)
Pretty knife for sure, and it looks extremely well made.

What's better than a Lambsfoot!!o_O

Why two of them of course!!:D

Hope you get some rest and rejuvenation, Jack!!

LOL! :D Thanks Charlie, I was relieved to be able to get out of bed this morning, but I have more DIY to do today o_O ;)

here is that watch that arrived today Jack, and a signet ring I made some time ago, and a gift from some of the fellas at the rendezvous bought from Charlie!

Nice to see those Jack, thanks :)

Ok Guardians, what do you think of this knife? Does it make the cut?

It is very attractive in any case, though pricier that most Sheffield offerings, I'm guessing.

I think so Joshua  They are familiar with the Lambsfoot in South Africa (even if they've forgotten what to call it :D), not the first SA custom I've seen

Very nice looker! Kind of what the TEW Endurance might have been if it was designed for beauty rather than low cost. Bet it is just the ticket for biltong!

Yep :D

Free shipping though ;)

I remember seeing it when I went browsing the website but that was before I knew what a Lambsfoot was. I rediscovered it today and thought the Guardians would have some good comments about it.

Thanks for posting it Joshua

I'm growing more and more excited to own a Wright lambsfoot, the more I see them. That knife looks great for it's age! Looks nice and thin behind the edge, too.

May it continue to serve you well for another dozen years (at least), very nicely kept for its age!

Thanks gents. I don't baby my knives but I do look after them.

That picture was taken in Kings Canyon National Park. If memory serves it was somewhere between Selden and Silver Pass.

Thanks StoneBeard it's a great shot. And stunning scenery like a lot of the U.S.

I was just a kid when wrestling was at it's height, but would that be Giant Haystacks in the centre? With....Big Daddy second from the left?

Yes indeed Donn, Left to Right: Mick MacManus, Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Kendo Nagasaki, and Klondyke Kate! :D The first time, I saw a picture of Giant Haystacks, it was on a poster in Blackpool, when I was about seven. The poster announced, 'The man Cassius Clay refused to fight!' :D

Fantastic! Thanks for that! I remember MacManus but not Nagasaki or Klondyke Kate :D On the Saturdays I wasn't on the farm I've memories of watching wrestling on 'Grandstand'..? with my mum's step-dad who was an avid sports fan!
Would love a copy of that Blackpool poster. Just done a Google search with no luck :(

Is that you Dave Lister?! :D

LOL! Definitely not! :D

I think you can find them all on YouTube Donn :D It's a shame about the poster, but it was 50 years ago! :D

I was never a big wrestling fan but Haystack Calhoun and Gorgeous George were two names I recall.
I'm admiring my Lambsfoot while browsing the forums!
