Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

LOL! :D I honestly had to think about it, but actually I did know, if only from those cheap clam-shell knives with the 'BARLOW' bolster! I wonder what happened to Kay Barlow :) I'm still enjoying taking this one out ;)

Thanks a lot Bill, they don't really understand the concept of matching covers these days, but I'm happy with this one :) Probably more luck than judgement  I'm not a fan of shopping either Bill, but a good Islay malt on the other hand...:) Nice composition there  When I was a teenager I used to tie trout flies for what was then Britain's biggest fishing tackle shop, Bennett's of Sheffield. Sadly, I don't have a single one of those flies myself :( They all either got sold to Bennett's, or given away to girlfriends (for earrings)

Jalapeño Apple Jelly with my last regular lids.
Happy to have my HHB in the pocket today.

Thanks, Jack. They were quite good! Is that a magpie or am I mistaken? I didn’t realize they had such colorful green tail feathers.

Going out of town today and won't be back until Friday. However, I'll be carrying my HHB whilst away. Recycled photo.

Great stuff! :) It is a magpie Joshua, a common bird here, and I see them in my garden all the time, but I had not noticed the colourful tail feathers before either. We sat down to have a sandwich on a fallen tree, and I could see the magpie keeping an eye on us from a distance. I figured other walkers had probably stopped in the same spot, and it was hoping for a few crumbs. I let it see me flick a large crumb about 10 feet away, and it swooped down for it :)
