Looking good Ron, hope you had a great weekend :)

I love turnips; nice and peppery. I can't take a picture with one, though. I just ate them.
So here's a Swedish turnip.

Very good Jer :) I have half a swede in my fridge leftover from last week's stew. Over the past 20 years, they have definitely become far more commonly available here than turnips, I'm not sure why

Hopefully you all had a great Sunday. Making some spaghetti. The sauce, all provided by my garden. It's starting to slowly fade which makes me sad. But we have enjoyed the veggies all summer!

Sounds fantastic Taylor, and it's always great to see your WCLF  :)

Thanks Jack. Beautiful hiking pics!

Thank you my friend :) What a photo! You really are an excellent photographer Dwight :)

Larrakin, that's a bit harsh, apt, but harsh.:D:D:D:D:D:D.

Sorry mate, wasn't meant to be harsh! :D ;)

Is that last weekends march through the woods.:rolleyes::rolleyes::p:p:p

LOL! :D I wish! :D  With not having travelled around so much this year, I have struggled to get hold of pies :( A few pasties and sausage rolls, but no pies. It's not very good for bakeries in my neighbourhood, and a lot of the stalls in Leeds market have closed down. @donn is much better placed in Pie Country ;)

Good Morning Guardians! :) I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend, and that the start of the week is both kind and gentle to you ;) Stay safe Guardians

Good for you Jer, and I think the Lambsfoot is the perfect carver  We didn't have pumpkins here when I was a kid, as in Ireland, we celebrated Halloween by carving out turnips - and for that you needed a sharp knife!  :D
I can get two faces out of that pumpkin. It just needs a tinfoil divider and two candles.
I stumbled upon a Rod Serling's Night Gallery, speaking of faces. I wondered who got paid what for making faces in fun-house mirrors for the opening titles.

That seems odd. Sounds like a question for the turnip marketing board.

Thank you Jack! We’re spending the week in one of our favorite vacation spots. Hopefully the weather stays nice and I can get some good photos to share. That’s a great fall photo of your Hartshead my friend! I hope you have a great week! :)

Good work Jer, look forward to seeing it finished :)

It's causing consternation mate! I blame it on the Southerners! First they came up here with their darn "crumpets", then it was swedes! o_O  ;)

Lucky you Ron! :) Hope you and Pam have a great time, and I'm looking forward to seeing your pics :) Thanks a lot pal, I was going to go for a walk to get some exercise, but it was raining so heavily I changed my mind o_O

Good morning Guardians! I hope y’all have a great week ahead. Be careful out there. :)

A recycled teaser photo for y’all! ;)

This is the first time that I’ve traveled with Big Eb. I certainly expect him to behave and act like a gentleman! :D

Told everyone i am losing it, forget everything and disregard everything i have said or say.

Always love seeing that lambsfoot, Dylan.

I don't bring her out nearly as often as I should - some of my nicest jigged bone, I think.

Tomintoul! Around 1990 I won a case of Tomintoul at a wine fair in London, and already half-cut I had to carry it right across London, to where I was staying! It was a very memorable adventure, and so that Scotch has a special place in my heart :) Unfortunately, at that time, they had switched to a bottle design envisioned by the distillery owner's wife, which looked like a large perfume bottle, and one of the tackiest things I've ever seen (her husband thought the same). Thankfully, they dropped it, but I don't think I've had Tomintoul for at least 10 years. Enjoy your dram my friend, that's a great pic :)

Thank you, Jack. This is the first time I have tried Tomintoul and I am quite pleased with it. My wife doesn't like it as well as she does the Aberlour but that just means more for me :D.

I love the jigging on that Glennbad special lamb Dylan.

Thank you, Dwight - he did a masterful job. A wonderful picture of your Ironwood pair!

'Tis my favorite season - I just plucked my only pumpkin off the vine (I only managed to grow this wee one). This thing isn't going to cut it for the pie I had planned so I'll need to supplement from my neighbor's garden.

(Pardon the dirty creek - we just had a lot of rain roll through.)
