We didn't have pumpkins here when I was a kid, as in Ireland, we celebrated Halloween by carving out turnips - and for that you needed a sharp knife!

It was a very memorable adventure, and so that Scotch has a special place in my heart Unfortunately, at that time, they had switched to a bottle design envisioned by the distillery owner's wife, which looked like a large perfume bottle, and one of the tackiest things I've ever seen (her husband thought the same). Thankfully, they dropped it, but I don't think I've had Tomintoul for at least 10 years. Enjoy your dram my friend, that's a great pic
