Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

It is not a discussion per say, just an idea he is throwing around. It is in the Albers Cutlery Thread. Give me a break mate, i'm no good with links and stuff. o_O
Sorry mate, I thought I'd edited in a link, I must have forgot to save the edit!

Done it! You put your feet up again! :p 😄

That's interesting Leon, can you add a link, so folks can find the discussion?

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm posting a couple of hours later than usual, as I had some work to do urgently. Got my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket, and I'm wishing everyone a good week :)

The HHB is one great knife to go in the pocket.👍

I love the backyard Shots with the Beers and Lambfoots everyone!, I would near drown if I tried that this weekend! - cant moan it is Winter after all!

Donn, Bill and Jack- your Hartshead Barlows are looking fantastic!

Cheers! It's a 27.8c spring day here in the UK. When that happens we usually drown in our summer. 😒

Thanks a lot amigo, it's good to see some honest patina on your Hartshead Barlow :)

Thanks Jack, considering I've not used it for the past few months I'm guessing that could be rust...

Alabaster chess board (all the pieces are somewhere packed in a box).o_O

Nice colours Bill. I think I have an alabaster chess set somewhere but not with that fantastic colouring you have there.

Hey, I had a funny encounter with a couple of coppers today. I was sat in my front garden working on another walking staff, stripping the bark off with my Barlow, when they pulled up on the street nearby. I said hello, and they were asking about a house number. I went over, and was pointing them in the right direction, and then noticed I was actually pointing with my Lambsfoot blade, and with my Gilpin hatchet poking out of my vest pocket! :D

Vest pocket or waistcoat pocket? Can you show us the hatchet?

Lol - next minute Jack is getting Tasered!
Yeah, I think that was a lucky escape. Coppers are to twitchy nowadays. Recent legal advice I've had is not to engage with the police AT ALL. Not even to wish them a good morning. Which is a sad example of the ways things have gone.

Thanks David, I acquired it in Mexico; the matching chess pieces as well. If memory serves me right it was in Acapulco. Your HHB is fantastic...such character!
