Hey, I had a funny encounter with a couple of coppers today. I was sat in my front garden working on another walking staff, stripping the bark off with my Barlow, when they pulled up on the street nearby. I said hello, and they were asking about a house number. I went over, and was pointing them in the right direction, and then noticed I was actually pointing with my Lambsfoot blade, and with my Gilpin hatchet poking out of my vest pocket!

Yeah, I think that was a lucky escape. Coppers are to twitchy nowadays. Recent legal advice I've had is not to engage with the police AT ALL. Not even to wish them a good morning. Which is a sad example of the ways things have gone.
