Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Going to do a kayak, bike and brew tour later today. Yesterday it was rainy all day until around 7 or so then got really nice. Today is supposed to be beautiful, before the rain moves back in for tomorrow. Hope to get some pictures today. Good morning Guardians and all,
Lots of yard work to do in the new yard😁. Planting, weeding etc. I though that I would give my trusty HHB a rest and put Mr. Ironwood in the pocket:thumbsup:. However, before I did I gave it a session with my ceramic stone to touch up the edge😉. Nice and sharp now and ready for what ever the day may bring. :D IMG_3025.JPG

Pshaw...that was a very casual eating "contest". In a serious competition, there's no chatting or using forks.

Did I tell you that this Fourth of July, Joey Chestnut set another record for eating Nathan's Hot Dogs? 76 hot dogs (and buns) in 10 minutes! o_O

I think this is a pretty good American version of fish & Chips. A few gulf shrimp on the side, green beans instead of peas. Hush puppies (balls of fried cornbread batter) would have added more USA flavor.

Thank you, Jack. The whiskey was superb, I really enjoyed it. American made single malts aren’t all that common (at least not where I’m at) - you kind of have to intentionally look for them. I got it in with a few other bottles, including this very fine Islay.

Dylan Pàdruig Pàdruig , that is a dram that I'm not familiar witho_O. I thought that I knew all the single malts from Islay. I'll bet that's one that will smack you right in the face - no wimps need apply! LOL😁
