Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks Dennis. I've only had one Lambsfoot better out of the mailbox before this one. Jack sent me a Big 'Un that had the nicest F&F. This one's a close second. Thankfully not a Friday knife

Nice horn on that Li'l one!
I'll have to check one out soon!

Thanks, I was very lucky on that one. Guess you recognize the woodwork on the board?

And surprisingly quick clean up for a new one ;)

That's not to bad actually.

I'm weak... Since I keep seeing these Gary Wines Lambsfoot knives, one finally arrived to join the flock. :)

Congratulations on the G.Wines Lambfoot Mike !!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine
While I only have one(1) G.Wines Lambfoot to go on, some observations ...
1) Came ready to slip in my pocket ... although I eventually cleaned about what you got out of yours
2) F/F much better than most other Lambfoot knives
3) The Rosewood edges are nicely rounded and the overall profile thin by comparison to others, making it especially pocket nice
4) Comes in 01 Tool Steel unlike most that come in C70. Little harder to sharpen 01. Had to get out my Ken Onion Work Sharp to find the edge I was looking for
5) What can I say, all things combined, I really like the G.Wines Lambfoot better than many other Lambfoot knives. I'd do it again, but may never have to

Old Faithful did not fail. Neither did the Barlow knife.
Great post Taylor, you are really seeing the sights  :)
Natural always trumps man made, i have pure Merino fine wool underlay tops, there is no comparison between them and man made synthetics.
Absolutely Leon, you can't beat that Merino wool  :)
Cool picture Taylor, never been to Yellowstone…yet!😊👍
I hope you can visit before too long Leon, you really have some spectacular scenery in the USA :)

Be sure to hold onto your pic-i-nic basket! :D ;)

That's good news Mike :) Be interested to know how you find the steel, I'm still sceptical about it being O1 rather than C70
Nice all the way around, Jack! The last pic looks like a hardy tool, a wrench or clamp of some sorts?
It's actually a type of pipe cutter Dennis, I'll see if I have another photo with it on. Yeah, really heavy duty piece of gear, and I'm surprised it hasn't been snapped up yet

I'm afraid the only other photo I can find is this one, and the whole tool is 4-5 times bigger. Maybe I can get a pic next week

Good news Mike

Good morning Guardians, I've had a busy and stressful week I'm afraid, as some junkies have been causing trouble in my generally very peaceful neighbourhood  Hope everyone else has had a good 'un. I'm late posting because I had to speak to the police, and then my pal and his eldest lad came round, and we went for a much-needed coffee. Got my trusty Hartshead Barlow with me

Li'l-un today...

Wow Dennis, that one has fantastic looking horn. 👍
All is well with the slip and my Lambsfoot, just going to oil it up when we get home to be safe! 😉👍
Be sure to hold onto your pic-i-nic basket! :D ;)

And I echo that as well. I had to do nothing to mine out of the box. Of course, as I always do, I put my own edge on it. Good knife.

My stag Lambsfoot for today!

Looking good Ken

Hope everyone is having a good Friday :) Pretty warm here today, and I've just been sat outside in the garden with my neighbours and their kids, but the kids are getting tired, and the mosquitoes are biting, so we've called it a day. It's nearly10 o'clock anyhow. Time for a dram I reckon ;)

I think I'll join you, Jack. It's officially the weekend 🍻

Good morning Guardians, after a wet start to the summer here, with seasonably low temperatures, we have the promise of a sunny weekend, with temperatures in the higher 80's :) I've had a bruising week, and didn't really feel up to having a full hike today, but hoping to get out for a shorter one later this morning. Probably just going to have a walk in some local woodland, maybe some catapult practice ;) Whatever you're doing, I hope you have a good one Guardians, have a great weekend

Hoping our pal Charlie waynorth waynorth is doing OK after his hip op

Love this Photo Jack.
Old Gear seems to go well with Knives in Photos and this looks great. Hope things have settled in your neighbourhood now Jack.

Thanks a lot mate, my pal with the tool-stall provides me with convenient back-drops! :D ;) Thanks again Duncan, the police are trying to get on top of it, hoping they can nip it in the bud. Have a great weekend my friend
