From your pen to God's ear Jack :) and thanks the WCLF is a treasure, being AFAIK, the only Lambfoot made in N. America.

Last leg of the trip, only 4 hours til we get home. It's been a fun vacation. But I'm ready to be home LOL.
Your Hartshead Barlow is looking better than ever Taylor :) Judging from your photos, you have had a wonderful trip, but it's always nice to get home isn't it? :)

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone's week got off to a good start. With Charlie waynorth waynorth very much in mind, I called in at a Sicilian cafe yesterday, for coffee. I had a black croissant, one of the strangest things I've ever eaten, black as coal, but it tasted ok. The waiter told me the name of the flour they use, but I forget it now. We're still in the middle of an English heatwave here, with temperatures in the mid to high 80's, I know some of you folks will scoff at! :D At least it's not raining anyway! ;) I have to go into town later to pick up my new reading specs (again), so I might grab some lunch. I'm carrying my 2018 Ebony today, black as a Sicilian croissant! :D ;) Have a good day Guardians

Jack i was learning the Bagpipes for a While when I was young- I was on the Chanter and just about to get a set of Pipes- but I was young and Impressionable and didn't want to be teased about wearing a Kilt- ( only because we were in a smaller rural type Town with not much of a understanding of such things, shame as I absolutely Love the Pipes - I find them to conjure up real emotions in me.

That Knife is a beauty and looks beautiful Jack!

I spoke to Charlie the other day, I didn't want to say anything as its not my business to, he's out- at Home with Joanne, taking one step at a time :) I'm glad to hear he's Lurking when he can - its a great sign! I miss seeing his Posts!

Really Duncan, that's fascinating? Yes, they're very stirring aren't they mate? :) Even in Glasgow, people get teased for wearing the short kilt, the kids shout, "Kilty, kilty, cold bum!" at them! :D ;)

Thanks a lot pal :) I was going to throw in a bonus bagpipe video, but I have to say, there's far more bad ones than good ones online! :D

It must have been great to speak to Charlie, I'm glad he's OK. He's made a few posts in other threads. I tried texting him last week, but my phone contract must have changed or something, as the texts wouldn't send :( Hope your week is going well Duncan :)

Put more Two Bobs in.:D:D:D.
LOL! :D I was commenting on a YouTube video the other day, where a young American woman, living in England, was saying nobody understood feet and inches here. Anyone of my age (and a fair bit younger) is still using feet and inches, pounds and ounces, and measuring temperature in Fahrenheit. I still regularly hear people calculating in pre-Decimal (pre-1971) currency! :D I was talking to an old pal on the phone the other day, and he said it was 32 degrees in London. I asked him if he was on the 'new money' now. He admitted he had no idea how hot 32 degrees was, he just heard it on the radio! :D
