The four teachers at my little school (me included) have a meeting this morning with the Superintendent.
He want to propose a new pay structure for our school. Seems they are having trouble hiring new teachers at the wage they pay us.

In honor of this new direction, I'll be carrying my Fancy Charlie Lamb...

When they start proposing a 'new pay structure', it usually means more hours, fewer breaks, and working harder for your pay packet

That already happened... without the raise.
That's why they can't hire new teachers at our school.
They look at the job requirements, and then look at the compensation, at quickly leave.
They aren't changing our pay structure for our benefit, they are changing it to attract new teachers.
