Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

You need a fire, Taylor. 🤠

Not new but not old. My son works at Fossil so he gets good deals.

Is season 3 any good?
I liked season 1, season 2 was just okay, so I haven't checked out season 3 yet.
Thanks for the info John :)

I was hugely impressed by season 1, less so by season 2. So far, I've only watched 3 episodes of season 3, they're good viewing, but so far they're set 'out of the park'
Enjoying a really great Pale Ale. It’s cold out here burrrrr 🥶🥶🥶

That DOES look cold Taylor! It made for a great pic though :)
I treated myself to these two today. :)
Very handsome JJ :)

Good morning Guardians, I still have that Xmas-New Year Limbo feeling, and the weather is still miserable here. I could do with getting out for some fresh air though. Hope everyone is doing OK, and enjoying carrying your Lambsfoot knives. I've got my Rosewood Big 'Un in my pocket today

Good Morning Guardians

I'm enjoying my visit to the beach. It's pretty chilly and raining off and on, but we are still finding ways to have fun.

Found this really cool driftwood teepee somebody built along the beach.

Found a really good English Pub next to the beach. I split my Pasty with my son and he shared his Bangers with me.

And of course I have my Usual Lamb with me, the only knife I brought on the trip.

OTW is looking good Jer :)
Me and RALF having some Verena Street decaf this morning.

Hope it was tasty Jeff :)
My lambsfoot this week is Cracker Jack, my stag Ashley's Choice SFO for Jack Black. Here are a couple of fall photos I probably took two months ago, although it seems like only two weeks ago!

Great photos Gary, I'm actually going to be slipping my AC in my pocket shortly
Ya, the in-park stuff was excellent but the out-of-park stuff felt weird, like Sci-Fi without any originality.

I hope you're able to get out and about, Jack.
The Big 'Un should take care of anything you run across. 🤠
I know what you mean John, they did the filming in Malaysia, which has some very futuristic architecture. There are driverless cars, but in one scene, an ATM gets robbed. I don't know what it's like in the USA (hopefully better), but it's getting harder and harder to find an ATM here, and a lot of businesses are flatly refusing to take cash, so an ATM seems kind of Old School! :D Thanks baddy, I've enjoyed carrying it, so far, today

Really cool pics John  That pasty looks delicious, and very authentic. Did you ask if they had any Henderson's?! :D I'm glad your Lamb is getting to travel so much :)

I've been enjoying having my Big 'Un with me, and it proved to be a useful cardboard shredder, as I seem to have a lot more to throw out than in the average week - 2-3 times as much! Around 5.30pm I'm headed down to a pals, as I still have presents for him, his missus, and kids. His dad is old, and has a few health problems, so my mate kind of went into hiding the week before Christmas, so they could have Christmas dinner with his dad, so it's the first time I've seen him since before the holiday. He's back at work tomorrow, so tonight is the last chance we'll get to meet up. I'm going to take the gifts down, and then we're heading into town for something to eat, a couple of pints, and a movie, so I've decided to replace my Big 'Un with my AC :) Hope everyone else is having a good day

Same here... Cash is becoming useless.

My son, who has been to Yorkshire, said all the food was very authentic tasting. I wasn't expecting the Pasty to be so spicy, so I really didn't need Hendersons. ;)

That was very thoughtful of him... Family first. :)

Taking a cue from Gary?
I really like the AC's, they seem like a wonderful size and all the stag is nice.

Having a relaxing day at the ocean.

Where we are staying... Little Venetian.

Seems to be an English theme around town... Pubs and Bars.

Took a leisurely walk along the beach...

Walked the pier, both on top and underneath...

And gathered a few shells along the way...

I've had mixed success with that sort of thing. Maybe no good with too much thickness behind the edge? Maybe something astrological?
Thanks for your Accusharp speculations, Jer. :)

That's cool Gary, don't wear holes in your pockets with all those keys ;)

I'm intrigued, do you think it's a problem getting the angle consistent? If so, maybe one of the many guided systems might be helpful, or there are even simple guides, which can be attached to a stone (like below). I do hope you can resolve the problem Gary

They were very tasty! :) In fact I only had the chocolate ones (the others were actually white chocolate) :D

Go for it my friend, as I'm sure you know, in Spain, they're still receiving gifts in their zapatos then! :D
Jack, I think my pockets are more at risk from exposed tang corners than they are from keys. 🤓

I have a DMT MagnaGuide guided system, but haven't had the level of success I'd like with that either. :( I've just never been very adept at developing manual skills without LOTS of practice, and that may be what's preventing me from developing sharpening skills. (Of course, many people will object that "Practice makes perfect" isn't quite correct and should be modified to "Perfect practice makes perfect", but that really doesn't give much hope to the unskilled! ;)) I should also mention a notable exception: I've actually had some moderate success in sharpening old Imperial and Colonial carbon steel knives I've acquired.

Our neighbors across the alley brought us a container with a variety of cookies and fudge; very enjoyable!:thumbsup::cool:

When I visited my daughter in Spain, I enjoyed seeing 3 kings scaling many balconies on multistory apartment buildings. And we took a bus from Denia to Valencia on January 5, arriving at the Valencia bus station in the early evening. We tried to take a cab to our hotel downtown, but the driver warned us he could only get us close, and then we'd have to cross the route of the Kings' Day Eve parade on foot, dragging our luggage. It was a challenging adventure!

Thanks Gary, I think it’s pretty groovy too. 🙄😊
You definitely got a groovy thing goin', Todd! 🤓

I was sure none of these would come out, but I kept three. Almost none.
