Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

A new one of RALF

So how did the tiny slingshot work out?
Looks like it would be tons of fun at the market once the weather improves for you.
It would be pretty stealthy too. You could tag Batman or Deadpool and they'd never know who did it. ;)
I decided against taking it John, on the grounds that things would almost certainly get out of hand, and my mate might end up losing his stall! I told him this, and he made me promise to take it next week! :D
Oh tell me about it. I have about a dozen transgender students and I'm very careful not to use pronouns at work any more.
I remember hearing about this for the first time a few years back, in relation to an individual, and struggled to believe it. I remember saying, "She may be a big lass, but she's not more than one @%&#+$£ person!" No offence to anyone

RALF is looking very handsome :) Great pic my friend

Your Lamb is looking well-traveled, my friend. 🤠
I told him this, and he made me promise to take it next week!
And that's why he's your friend. 😆

I refrain from using pronouns these days and just refer to my students by their chosen name. It's too easy to get tripped up when you use pronouns and I could get in trouble if I offend one of them. Teachers are on the hook for everything these days, we have to be very careful. But, I will say that some of my transgender students are my absolute favorites of all of them, because when it comes right down to it, it's the person you're dealing with and not their gender.
Such a classy knife
Thank you, Jack. :)
It was probably the most generous gift knife I've ever received and I am thankful for our friend Modoc ED Modoc ED

Not often, at my age, you find a pal as daft as yourself! :D

Absolutely John

A generous gift indeed
Yay... Jack's not pregnant. 🤠
Yay! I don't have to stop drinking! 🥳 🍻 🤣

I hope you're OK Dennis, that sounds like a pretty major visit my friend :(
Thanks, Jack.
Yeah, they have just increased my infusions from 2 one hour sessions to 1 four hour sessions. Hope it helps.
I've never seen any of them Dennis, I watch the US stuff! :D Though I was watching Gomorrah last night
Lol!
Seems the British series are a little bit more cerebral and less graphic than American,...well, except maybe Killing Eve! 😁👍🏻
My Hartshead Barlow is refusing to leave my pocket! Have a grand day everyone, the weekend is nearly here :)

That's a nice setup, but I would be afraid I'd be hitting my fingers more than anything!🤯🤣
Good morning Guardians. Getting started today with a CAT scan and MRo_OI. Just routine checks for anything abnormal. So far, in the last few years, all my diagnostics have come back clean:thumbsup:
Hope they continue to do so Bill!
Will have my trusty HHB with me today - it's also doubling duty as my good luck charm:thumbsup:.

Love seeing the bark on your HHB!👍🏻
Because of the Covid situation here, I wasn't able to get over to my mail box in the run-up to Christmas, and they have only just re-opened. Many thanks to Gary Peregrin Peregrin Peregrin Peregrin and Barrett btb01 btb01 btb01 btb01 for the lovely cards :) I also received a card from Geoff Tweedale, and one from Stan Shaw's widow, Rosemary, who I have often thought of this year

Wonderful photo!🙂
Thanks Dennis. Good to see you back. Betty looks great. The first margarita tonight is for you buddy! 😉👍
Hey, that's great! Wish it was in person!🍻🍹
I hope you get all fixed up soon, my friend. I think of you often. :)
Thank you very much my friend! Slow progress is still progress!🤠👍🏻

Such a lovely shot!😎
I've been coughing a fair bit this afternoon, and generally feeling under the weather, so I thought I better do the responsible thing

Negative thankfully! :) Thought I'd celebrate with another Sheffield export :D ;)

Thanks mate, Barrett btb01 btb01 produce a lovely card each year, and Gary Peregrin Peregrin always manages to find me a card with a pic of Charlie waynorth waynorth ! :D ;)

Thanks Dennis :) Unfortunately, with a hacking cough, and the way things are here, I'm probably going to have to self-isolate somewhat anyway! :D ;)
Cheers mi hombres!

Cool pic mi amigo :)

Good morning Guardian, it's another cold, wet, and windy day here, with heavy rain forecast for the rest of the day. I know British weather is something of an international joke, but it's not usually THIS bad! Cabin fever is starting to set in! ;) I hope everyone has something interesting planned for the weekend, and that you have a good one :)

Well, to be honest, the last thing I felt like when I got up this morning, having drunk 10 pints in the pub yesterday, was fumbling around for different Lambsfoot :D ;)

😉😁

My dad played international correspondence chess for decades, and would regularly send a bunch of postcards to the USSR reading 'P-K4', or 'KB3-KR5', or whatever. He was once questioned, in a friendly manner, by M16! :D

That’s fantastic! 🤣

Sorry Gary, the other dishes are Indian, chana masala is a curry, made with chickpeas, in a rich, spicy tomato sauce, rotis are flat bread, and samosas are deep-fried filo pastry parcels, containing potato, peas, onion, spices, etc

I know it’s a completely different cuisine, but this made me think about my brother’s favorite takeaway in Bath, a sketchy-looking little pizza/kebab shop that had a delicious doner kebab.

I enjoyed having coffee with my pal, though the cake selection was limited, and I forgot to take a pic. Because of the Covid situation here, I wasn't able to get over to my mail box in the run-up to Christmas, and they have only just re-opened. LOL! :D I re-watched that recently! :D
That’s fantastic! 🤣
He sent those postcards around the world, virtually every day for years! :D The spooks seemed fascinated by them, and wanted to know if he thought it'd be possible to send coded messages like that. From what I recall, he told them he thought it unlikely (the cards only contained one move) :D

Some of those back-street places have the best food! :D There's a Middle-Eastern place in Leeds, which is an absolute dump, but the food is superb :D

(Just to qualify my first statement, a lot of those places will also make you ill too! :D ;))

🤣 I have a trangender sibling who, fortunately, identifies with singular pronouns. I am totally sensitive and respectful regarding gender identity, but the affront to traditional grammar is a bridge too far!🤣
(I'm joking. I'll call anyone whatever they prefer, but they/them might never sound correct to my ear)

AllSorts! So good and so bad at the same time.
Yay... Jack's not pregnant. 🤠
This is ceder tree pollen season, and I don't want to be that jerk that assumes a sinus headache is just allergies... Staring at a test, thinking "Please, please, no second line!" gave me some flashbacks. ;)

It's the grammar that bothers me! :D 'He', 'She', fine, but 'They'?! ;)

LOL! :D My kids have a life-long friend, who is probably pushing 40 by now. I can remember, about six of us, all sat in a clapped-out Austin Avenger while his mum waited... :)

Relics of a well-spent youth.
