Lol...Gary always manages to find me a card with a pic of Charlie
I like that photo a lot, Jack.
Lol...I am totally sensitive and respectful regarding gender identity, but the affront to traditional grammar is a bridge too far
Thank you very much, Kevin.Lovely picture, John. I find myself grabbing mine quite often aswell.
My dad played international correspondence chess for decades, and would regularly send a bunch of postcards to the USSR reading 'P-K4', or 'KB3-KR5', or whatever. He was once questioned, in a friendly manner, by M16!![]()

Good morning Guardians. Blue sky and sunny today but a little on the chilly side - high of 49 degrees F today. Putting together some storage shelves for the attic and building some for a closet too. Going to be an HHB sort of day for me today.

Lol...
Charlie's pretty famous. I get a lot of Christmas cards with his picture on it.
I like that photo a lot, Jack.
Traditional knife on traditional candies.
Lol...
That's too funny, yet somehow very true.
Worst of all, it gets confusing for us that actually care.
I get so afraid that I'll make a mistake and offend them.
That's why I've adopted the policy of calling them by name instead of using pronouns.
My vocabulary has now shrunk to include only the words "You" and their "Proper Name".![]()
Calling for freezing drizzle here, likely sticking around home today dreaming about fishing.View attachment 1716848

Lol...I find it hard enough trying to remember the pronouns of my knives!

Yep, me too. I’ve only gone trout fishing a handful of times since my fishing buddy (father-n-law) passed. Time to get back on the horse.Great picture, my friend.
I sure hope this is the year that I can get back to fishing more often.
The fires and weather have kept me away from it long enough, I'm going crazy.
No sorry Jack, as it stands at the mo' I'm losing my job at the end of March, so I've no plans to go to Yorkshire at all. I'll even be postponing my annual eye exam I have in Harrogate until I have a better idea of where I stand. Just localish walks and the occasional pub for now. That's a very cool photo DavidYou due another visit to Harrogate anytime soon?

That was after 5 pints of 'antifreeze' so I was actually a bit warm...Looks cold...and wet!
Hope you got yourself and your HHB inside for some "antifreeze"!!
You don't want to get them mixed up. I know a few nurses who are daft enough to get confused between blood pressure and tyre pressure.Good morning Guardians. Getting started today with a CAT scan and MRI. Just routine checks for anything abnormal. So far, in the last few years, all my diagnostics have come back clean
. Decided that my wife's car need some diagnostics too and it's in the shop for this and that, nothing major
.
Except more inept.Like the British CIA![]()

Same here John, I have a lot of great knives that I try carry as a secondary, so at least they do get some carry. When it comes to cutting something though, 90% of the time, it's my Lambsfoot I pull out, and on the occasions I use another knife, I often wish I'd used my Lamb. Such a great all-round patternRight?
I pick up different knives during the day and think about how good they are. May even carry them for a bit. But inevitably the Usual Lamb end up back in my pocket again.
Except more inept.
Great pics David, hope you were wrapped upYesterday's walk. The White House is England's ?third highest pub.

Happy Saturday Guardians!!
Happened to me today...
My wife was opening birthday presents and one was in an Amazon box with some pretty hefty packing tape. I pulled the knife out of my pocket and preceded to cut the tape. About half way through the job, I put that knife back in the drawer and grabbed my Lambsfoot off my desk... Ripped right through that tape it did.
