Thanks Alan, that's a superb pic of RALF, it really captures the details of the knife, the bolster, and stippling, well. I am pleased the etch has survived so wellYour HB has certainly put on a little color Jack, looks good. I hope you get your walkabout today, and maybe run into a mate or two at the market!

It was worth it John, and fortunately, I was only back home an hour or soSorry you got called back early, Jack.
Given the state of your delivery system, I'd be surprised if you made it back before it closes.![]()

Your Lamb shows great character my friend

Indeed!That sounds complicated.
I remember a quirky thing that used to be common when ordering a bottle of beer in Austin. Instead of being served the chilled, open bottle with a normal beer glass, a lot of places would bring a small juice glass. The theory, I believe, was that the beer stayed colder in the bottle, so you would pour yourself little 4 oz. shots of beer. It was kind of fun, and gave you something to do with your hands.

Great comparison pics Rachel, I'm glad that you have been enjoying the Big 'UnHere's my Bagpipe Big-un, two years from new:

The stag does look warmer in color, but that might be from different lighting or camera effects. Looking good either way!
Yes, almost impossible for me to get consistent lighting. I hadn't actually been aware of the stag ageing, but studying it in my hand, I can see that it has, particularly the pile side. Thank you
