Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

If you've been hanging around here for a while, you'll have seen some of my photos from Harewood Castle before, and if you search, within the thread, you'll find plenty of previous photos. Hope I won't be considered all 'arty-farty' for posting some black and white pics from my visit today, there are colour pics in the Nature thread here

Thanks Jack. My father-n-law was semi-retired right up to his passing a few years ago at the age of 85. He owned his own independent insurance agency that his father started before him. He just couldn’t give it up, but he was the happiest and kindest man I’ve ever known.
I really like that black and white picture, that door just draws you in. 😊👍

I know a lot of older fellers who are still putting a few hours in Todd :) I've been a writer for the past 30 years, and while I don't do a fraction of the work I once did, I doubt I'll ever completely give it up. When I was a kid, I remember asking my dad about retirement age, and he told me that by the time I grew up, folks would be retiring at 50. It may have looked that way in the 60's, but things have gone the other way here! My dad was lucky to retire at 60 though. Nice memories of your father-in-law my friend :) Thank you, few more black and white pics for you, it must be 35 years or more since I last took black and white photographs :D

Those are tough decisions for sure, good luck.
Our realtor made it easy on us...
When your realtor says, "I know this is going to cost me a good commission, but if it was me, I wouldn't sell your place. I'd put the money into your current house and be miles ahead on price and location". Seems like a no-brainer now... going to remodel our current home.
I’ll be joining you boys in retirement in two years also.
Sound like a good reason to get together for a bit of fishin'.
Wow, your Lamb is looking great with some age, Todd.
Nice pic of your regular Lamb
Thank you, Jack.
Beautiful picture of your beautiful HHB.
Spectacular photos, Jack.
Beautiful crisp picture, Harvey.

I'm impressed with all the photo skills of our Guardians today. Job well done all.
Also, I wasn't able to use emojis... the things are taking forever to load.

You have received good advise in my opinion. If you are happy with your location, would be a folly to move.

This is getting beyond a joke, i sat here and it took 5 minutes for Jacks black and white photos to load. And trying multiple quotes, don't even think about it.

Sounds like a good decision. 😎👍

Sounds great, I’m in! 😊👍

Thanks John, they seem to only get better. 😊👍

I know sour beers aren’t for everyone. But wow this is a good one!

For some odd reason I really enjoy the tartness or these beers. I’m especially liking farm house ales and brews that let natural yeast take hold. But I still enjoy my cheap Busch Light of course! Cheers Guardians!!

Also, my HHB has been stealing a ton of pocket time lately.

Sounds like a good idea John, I'm glad you were able to come to a decision :)
Spectacular photos, Jack.
Thank you very much buddy :)

The problems with the site seem to be going on and on :(

That's ridiculous, they're not even high resolution 😖 I am having multiple issues myself though, it makes posting a real chore :(
Long-legged ghost double post.
I'm also getting ghost posts hanging on in the comment box after I've posted. My brain doesn't need any more confusion
Happy Saturday Guardians carrying my HHB.

Sounds impressive Taylor, I haven't had a good 'Taylor Beer' in a while, I need to go and do some shopping :) It's always great to see your Hartshead Barlow
They do age well, especially the wood covers, and another huge bonus, as the old farmers told me as a kid, " Easy Maintenance ".:thumbsup::thumbsup:🪛.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I've been sleeping badly lately, and a bit knocked-out, but I slept better last night. Got a ton of stuff to do in the house today, but no plans to go anywhere. Have a lovely Sunday everyone. I'm going FANCY today! :D ;)
