Nice work Leon, is that a strop?

No, but it could possibly be. It is a Kangaroo leather diary cover, i use it as an address and phone and contact diary. Was a life saver when i lost my phone on Christmas day, still had all my contacts. Putting everything in an electric devise, then relying on that only is an act of complete stupidity. I buy most of my leather stuff from a family owned company over here, they are hand made, top quality and great to do business with. All their products will outlive me.

Thanks for the info mate, I've admired your coin purse before, and your Joseph Rodgers Lambsfoot of course :)

My 1st lambfoot.12 days in transit from Sheffield to Florida.Fit and finish much better than expected and real good walk and talk.I was disappointed that tang stamp wasn’t A.Wright…but i was informed that A.Wright uses 3 different stamps.I am very happy overall with my purchase just supprised the hand made knife arrived dull,it would only tear paper.Fixed now!View attachment 1742465
Sweet! Both the knife and there is another Newbie like me here.

Three years ago when I was going to the dentist for biopsies, etc., I ran across a copy of "Ranger Rick" magazine. In it was a very interesting article about "Wombat Poop" and I shared it with all you Guardians. Every February since then, I've shared the Wombat Poop article for all the old Guardians, as a refresher, and now for the new Guardians who might not have seen it. Enjoy!!! It's a great article.:)

The Oatmeal had a great (if slightly crude) explainer about wombat butts and wombat feces a few years ago. They use their butts as weapons. Cute and weird little animals.

I do enjoy carrying this one. It's the lightest in my flock, but no slouch when it comes time to work.

It looks good too Greg, nice pic

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone's week started well. I was hoping to go with a walk with some neighbours today, but it's raining heavily again - it hardly seems to have stopped since the end of summer  Going out for a few pints with a mate tonight though, and since we'll be in the pub, I don't care how much it rains! ;) Have a good day Guardians

That looks delicious Todd :) Nice pic :)

Many thanks Bill, you're very kind :)

Helpful link Bill, but since it is a vendor's site, it puts you in breach of the Bladeforums rules I'm afraid :( There nothing wrong with pasting in the actual content though, as in my quote above:thumbsup:

Oh no! I checked to see if today was a national holiday there, this morning Bill! :D Seems like it'd be a good idea ;) Hope you feel better soon :) Your ebony Lamb is looking good my friend

Rose Beast is looking delightful Jer :)

Thank you Harvey, that's a stunning photo of your Charlie Lamb

Yummy looking brownie and it's very interesting how the colors match up the stag covers of your HHB.

Good morning Guardians. Unlike the weather that Jack was experiencing I am enjoying the sunshine this morning and so I will be going to the links today and playing a little golf.IMG_3387 copy.jpg

We had some sun yesterday.

Thanks Bill, it stopped raining for a few hours this afternoon :) I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the sunshine buddy, and hope you have a great time this afternoon :) Your Hartshead Barlow is looking good
Good Morning Guardians
Eye-catching leatherwork and Lamb John :)

Ever since he was born, my mate's youngest lad has suffered with a whole range of food allergies, which can really make him ill. They hoped he'd grow out of them, but that hasn't happened so far unfortunately. He is vegan, but even some fruits and vegetables make him ill. Despite his severely restricted diet, he's a real sweet kid though, and never complains.

I bought some nice almond and lemon cookies at the weekend, and they were quite delicious. I noticed they were also vegan, so I thought I'd get some more as a treat for the little 'un :)

As it had stopped raining by 11.00am, I went to the shop, about 3 miles away, and bought 4 packets of the biscuits. I was just about to text my mate about them, when I remembered his lad also has a serious nut allergy :(

It was lunchtime by this point, and I decided to visit a nice Syrian restaurant that I haven't been to for a few weeks. They still had roses up from last night, and petals scattering the tables - only the former were genuine though, which I realised when I was taking a pic  :D

Falafel with tahini dip, hummus, bread, and a pot of mint tea, for under a fiver (£5 - $6.77) :)
