IIRC.Who Guards the Guards?
You really do get some varied temperatures in Minnesota BarrettWhat is this “spring” you speak of?

Actually, it’s supposed to start warming up here this coming week, might even get into the 50’s a couple days, so I think the dozen or so cars and trucks out on the lake last night were just trying to get some ice fishing in while they still can.
We had a short warm spell a couple weeks ago, which prompted most folks to pull their ice houses off the lake, but I saw a video a couple days ago (which I can’t find now) where a guy cut a big cube of ice out of the lake with a very large chainsaw, and there was still about 20” of solid, clear ice.![]()
I'm half-expecting them to reject the photo I sent them yesterdayWhat a pain!![]()
It was thanks Barrett, made a nice changeSounds like a pretty good day, Jack!![]()
Thanks palHope they work out well for you, Jack. I noticed the other day that sole was separating on one of my boots. I’ve had them long enough that I’m guessing the midsole is probably deteriorating. I hardly wear them in summer, so I’m hoping they’ll hold together until it warms up, then I’ll probably have to break out my backup pair in the fall.
Nice apple-colored bone on that Lambsfoot!![]()
LOL!It’s not a fair fight.View attachment 1765415
Have you ever been inside David? Great to see your Hartshead Barlow out and about
Thanks HarveyReal beauty,
It was a bit of a result! Not one, but two pairs of well fitted boots, online no less. Yay! Now if you can quickly get that thing fixed, it would be a real good day. Cheers.
That's a very cool pic Harvey
LOL!Jack, I'll sometimes see the impressions of tree leaves in the sidewalks on which I travel, and I can't help but think there must have been some days that gravity was incredibly strong there to bring leaves to earth with such force!![]()

I know what you mean Gary!I know I've seen some really bad movies, but I think, as a survival tactic, my mind must repress any memories of them.![]()

I hate when Jack says that!![]()

A great film John, for sureI remember, back in '87 or '88, a friend gave me the book to read. I hadn't read many comics since I was a kid, but I said I'd give it a go. When I got home, around midnight I think, sat down, put some Bill Evans on, and started to read. I was still reading at 8.00am the next day

Thank you. It is sweet. That J. Rodgers is a real cupcake, Harvey, and 3xChocolate at that!!![]()
Thank you GTNoteworthy knife and nachos, Harvey!![]()
That image measures up nicely.Definitely looks like that apple was overmatched, Todd!![]()
But yesterday I grabbed an apple from my big bag of Fujis, and it must have been the Big Daddy Fuji of the bag!! I'll bet it might give your stag Big'un some stiffer competition. I put some on my cereal for breakfast both yesterday and today, so when I saw your photo, this is all I had left. But you can see that it was almost 4" in diameter.
Many thanks.Great color in that photo Harvey.![]()
Thank you Jack. That's a very cool pic Harvey![]()

Ragnarok was also fun. You choose two of my favorites. Watchmen was epicWatchmen is easily my favorite "superhero" movie. The only other one that even comes close is Guardians of the Galaxy.
I guess I have a natural affinity for Guardians!

Have you seen The Boys Ken?It's been a while but a great graphic novel also...the movie does a good job of 'condensing' it for the general audience. Very philosophical...makes you wonder what it would mean to have 'powers' and not all who has it thinks like the Superman lol.
Hugely impressiveJohnDF btw, have you seen the new HBO mini-series? Great add to the storyline...
LOL!Lol, I undermined it when I had it...thinking...it's a book with lots of pictures...should be a quick/easy read...![]()
Looking good thereRecycled for today...
