It's a strong drug for sure Bill!I must drink decaf tea or I have the same problem as you did with the lack of sleep.I try to stay away from all caffeine...affects my heart rhythm
. However, every once in awhile I'll have some and then I pay the price.
Hope your Saturday goes well...you may need a nap along the way.
Very crisp photo of that Stag Lambsfoot. I really like that particular knife and I'm sure you do too!
About 20 years ago, after I hadn't drunk coffee for about 5 years, I remember having an Irish Coffee after an early evening pub meal. I was hoping that the whiskey would cancel out the caffeine. Not a chance, I was awake all night! 
I had 4 shots of 100% Arabica spread over a couple of coffees yesterday morning - foolish mistake! 
I haven't had the chance of a nap today I'm afraid, but I think I'll be having an early night!

I hope everyone is having a great day It's been lovely and sunny here, which makes a huge difference After crossing the beautiful countryside where West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire meet, close to the River Wharfe, and the Harewood Estate, we arrived, once again, in the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, which I visited a few weeks ago. First order of the day was 'Second Breakfast'! Both healthy and delicious
Harrogate city centre is almost entirely surrounded by a belt of parkland, called The Stray, which I thought would be a good place to burn off the breakfast calories. It's a straightforward amble, but along the way, there are quite a few points of interest. I took a few pics, before we headed back into the centre, and then back home to Leeds
