Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Your welcome. Yeah I could never remember what pub I go in either as I tend to find Scarborough a bit of a rabbit warren. I'm not sure why like considering one entire side of it is the North Sea.
Never heard of the Hole in the Wall or I don't think I have.
Same here mate, I just got the name of the Hole in the Wall online. I'm with Her Outdoors, so I doubt we'll be going in more than 2 or 3, or she'll fall asleep on the train! :D I shall try to have a pint in the Leeds Arms for you

If she did she'd end up in Liverpool. That would be confusing getting off the train and finding the sea on the opposite side of where you left it. 😂

I hope everyone is having a great day :) It's been lovely and sunny here, which makes a huge difference :) After crossing the beautiful countryside where West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire meet, close to the River Wharfe, and the Harewood Estate, we arrived, once again, in the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, which I visited a few weeks ago. First order of the day was 'Second Breakfast'! :D Both healthy and delicious

Harrogate city centre is almost entirely surrounded by a belt of parkland, called The Stray, which I thought would be a good place to burn off the breakfast calories. It's a straightforward amble, but along the way, there are quite a few points of interest. I took a few pics, before we headed back into the centre, and then back home to Leeds

Slip of the keyboard I'm sure but Harrogate is a town not a city.

Sorry, I'm used to saying 'city centre' from living in Leeds and Sheffield, though I do also say 'town' for both too! :D Hopefully my opening reference to Harrogate as a "Victorian spa town" is acceptable
A short beer ration will ensure discipline I'm sure.
She's definitely going on halves mate! ;) :D

Took my wife and kids on an easy lil 2.5 mile loop close to the American River today.

Really beautiful wild flowers dotted the walk.

It was an amazing day. We’re gonna check the area out again in a couple weeks. There are other trails we definitely need to take.
