Now I get It, Vince. Guess that sometimes, I’m not the sharpest Lambfoot in the drawer,I'd take both, actually, Harvey! Was just alluding to the Godfather quote after someone was shot to death in a car: "Leave the gun, take the canoli."
Two great Lambs and a “big coat“ is a great start to B’Day week.Whereas I had to stay in during the sunny weather yesterday, I have to go out today, so I'll be putting my 'big coat' onHave a good week Guardians, and enjoy carrying your Lambsfoot knives
Starting mine with my trusty Hartshead Barlow

Such a cheerful image, David. So a shot from last summer some time.
Hope everyone's week gets off to a good start.
Great spot for your Lamb, John.
Thanks Harvey, the sun came out for a while this afternoon, so I'm hoping the weather forecasters are wrong again! Two great Lambs and a “big coat“ is a great start to B’Day week.

Nice one!Good morning friends! Here is a trustworthy companion for several months now... rides in my watch pocket, unobtrusive, loved by everyone (even in California!) and a sure conversation starter.

Thank you John. Because you have good taste.Very cool picture, Harvey.
Why do I now wish I had a Lambsfoot handled in beef jerky?

I have an old friend, the same age as me, who went to the same school. We only met when we were in our early 20's. I didn't know her at school because she was in some secret hot-house unit, nobody else knew about, and was packed off to Cambridge University at 16. I always ask about the 'special unit', and if it was run by a bloke in a wheel-chair, etc. He humours me, but I don't think she actually knows what I'm talking aboutVery cool, Jack.
Interesting note; Patrick Stewart is reprising his role as Charles Xavier in the new Doctor Strange movie... or so I've heard.
Very niceDo you get many questions/comments about your Lambsfoot?

That's a great recollectionThe robust snap generally gets the conversation going. Most of the time we visit someone's childhood. I am also told how it is unexpected to see an old-timer knife, and many are surprised to know my journey started with the famous modern folder brands, and finally settled on traditional patterns. The brave souls who wish to handle it are coached on the snap and the nail breaker qualities.Depending on the interest and time, it turns out to be a very enjoyable conversation.
Well putI never had these may conversations when carrying GEC patterns which look like fine jewelry. In my experience, people appreciate a tool and admire jewelry. Good times.
Watch yer ankles Ed!The snakes will be coming out here soon (probably some out already) so thought this would be a good time to break out this Standard covered with Snakewood.

Watch yer ankles Ed!That one looks pretty good
I only have one Lambsfoot with Snakewood covers. It was a second, and John Maleham sold it me for very little, but there's not much point having fancy wood with cracks in it!I find it a little slim in-hand too, with the straight frame. I doubt I've carried it more than 3 or 4 times

Thanks Ed. They epoxied the cracks at the factory, though they could have done a neater job for sure. I'm not worried about them spreading, but they are definitely very noticeable. Good point, it does have a slim pocket profileCracks and all JackJack Black that's a nice looking knife. Just a bit of Super Glue applied with the fine point of a pin in the cracks will cure the crack problem. Although it may be a bit slim in the hand, a slim knife is often desireable when bulk is not wanted in a pocket.
I see what you did there.Because you have good taste
That power can be quite disarming.I think her special power is a really posh accent
That looks amazing. Good eating, Jack.
That's quote worthy.people appreciate a tool and admire jewelry
Watch your step, young man.The snakes will be coming out here soon

I think I would make a horrible diet coach.
