Steve Coogan created Alan Partridge :) I didn't see People Like Us, is Steve Coogan in that? I've like most of his character, and was devastated when I found out Paul Calf wasn't a real person ;) I thought Saxondale, an ageing roadie turned small-town pest-controller, was very well-observed :thumbsup: Not that I know any roadies who've gone into pest control! :D :thumbsup:

Sorry, the name of the faux journalist in People Like Us was Roy Mallard. (Just came back to me.)

Great stuff John, it looks like you've had a good day :) Fantastic pics :cool: I used to fish for pike through the winter, never caught much, but it was always nice to get out :) My granddad used to go fishing on Christmas Day! 🤣 :thumbsup:

Ya, fish don't move much when it's cold.
I've fished in half frozen rivers, but it was more for the fun of it than trying to catch anything.
