Went out for a little hiking and fishing this morning...


But it was still a little cold in the mountains, so the fish were not active...


But it was still amazing to get up in the fresh air, stretch the legs, and enjoy the outdoors...

I've fished in half frozen rivers, but it was more for the fun of it than trying to catch anything.

They were talking about the storms last night during the ball game and news reports back home talk about it affecting schools today. Hopefully it’s just a bunch of rain in the end.

I think we all have days like that Bill, whatever our chosen sport or activity. I'm from a generation of rock-climbers where climbing without a hangover was considered cheating! Sometimes, folks post that they are struggling to sharpen a particular knife, even though they are doing everything as they usually do, and I think the most learned advice is to take a break, and maybe try again another day.
