As per usual, I'll be heading down to the market tomorrow. The weather doesn't look great, but there's no rain forecast, so hopefully it'll be better than the past few weeks. I think I'm going to pocket my Hartshead Barlow, after 2 days, I'm missing it! Have a good Thursday Guardians

They were talking about the storms last night during the ball game and news reports back home talk about it affecting schools today. Hopefully it’s just a bunch of rain in the end.

We just were dismissed early from school today. That has never happened before. Snow and ice…yes, but never for wind, tornadoes, and hail.

You must be a different type of golfer than me, Bill. My game usually results in 18 holes of !@#$ with one nice shot that makes me say "Yeah, of course I'll come back and play again, did you see that shot?"

We are getting a late start today.
Heading out to one of historic towns to walk around and visit some antique shops.

Sounds like a great day, Mrs. Bigfish and I are going to St. Louis tomorrow, no big plans, just a day out.

Went out for a little hiking and fishing this morning...


But it was still a little cold in the mountains, so the fish were not active...


But it was still amazing to get up in the fresh air, stretch the legs, and enjoy the outdoors...

Meanwhile, we have a bumper crop of Meyer lemons and my wife made lemon bars this evening. We don't eat a lot of sweets, so these are a rare dessert treat.

They would be sensational. Meyer lemons are the best for cakes, biscuits and cooking in general, and make the best jams and marmalade's.

I think we all have days like that Bill, whatever our chosen sport or activity. I'm from a generation of rock-climbers where climbing without a hangover was considered cheating! Sometimes, folks post that they are struggling to sharpen a particular knife, even though they are doing everything as they usually do, and I think the most learned advice is to take a break, and maybe try again another day. As you say, there's always tomorrow Nice pic
