Lave that picture, Greg. 🤠
Did you carve the little dog?

I definitely remember the Pace Egg Play... I'm glad it's happening again for you. 🤠
That's good John, it's a nice old tradition, and a lot of fun :)
Getting a late start posting my knife today... It's been a busy day doing nothing. 🤣
That's a great photo John, I'm glad you got some much-needed rain :) Your Charlie Lamb is looking spectacular
Enjoy your play Jack, safe travels. 😊👍
Thanks Todd :)
Some Hot Cross Buns for you for Good Friday. You will have to work out the whack up between yourselves. 😇😇😇

Those look good Leon, as does your Joseph Rodgers Lambsfoot :)
Sounds like a pretty good Friday (pun intended). 😉 Enjoy yourself!

This is an old photo (it’s still dark here) but I think I’ll give the Hartshead a little pocket time today.

Thanks a lot my friend, it's great to see that pic again :) Enjoy carrying your Barlow :)
Every time I try to rotate this, Imgur says its camel is on fire and freezes me out.

Maybe I had two shopping carts open. I thought I had ordered one pair of filter straws and no additional mate.
LOL! :D Old Toffee Wings still looks good though Jer :) I have ended up with duplicate items a few times myself  The straws look to be pretty good ones at least :)
Safe travels my friend. Your HHB is indeed trusty. The hot cross buns look delectable.

Good morning Guardians. Today starting of sunny and warm. Going to take inventory of my collector knives and also do a little preventative maintenance on them - a little oil here and there I think. Today I return to carrying my HHB.

Thank you kindly Bill :) Hope your maintenance session went well :) It's nice to see your Hartshead Barlow back in the saddle
Those two match quite nicely :)
Good Morning Guardians
Cool pic Harvey :)

Evenin' all, (as an old TV copper used to say when I was a kid :D) ;) I hope that everyone has had a good day :) I had an enjoyable trip out to Heptonstall, and the Pace-egg Play was fun, though some of the old players have now been replaced, one having sadly passed away, and others retired or moved elsewhere. We arrived a little late to get a good spot, and I didn't get any good pics, but I'll try to post a few soon. After a pint in the pub, we headed down to the antique shops of Hebden Bridge, and I scoffed a couple of sausage rolls en route! :D All the hills have tired me out, but the weather was good, and I'm hoping to get out again tomorrow too :) Have a great Easter weekend Guardians

Nice shot John
Thank you, Todd. :)
Started in 2019 and then set aside until recently when I brought him out and got back to work.
It's adorable... Good job! 🤠
That's a great photo John
Thank you, Jack. :)
It looks like so much fun and what a great tradition. 🤠
Hope you're having a good one John, great pic buddy
I'm having a relaxing morning.
Later tonight, I finally get to treat myself to some sweets.
My wife and I are going out for ice cream sundaes and then to the movies.

Thanks John, it really is a nice, friendly event, and everyone seems to have a great time :) This seems to have been filmed during one of the later (post pub) performances :D

Sounds fantastic my friend :) I had an ice-cream myself today, which is actually a very rare event :D I hope you have a lovely time

That's a fantastic pic my friend, really nice work :D

Thank you kindly, Gentlemen!

In the spirit of full disclosure, I want to make sure that I didn't create the impression that I whittled it with that lambsfoot. I have my whittling knives and my everything else knife. The lambsfoot is the latter. :D

Thank you Jack.

You too, Jack. Despite the less than ideal seating, it looks like you had a fun time.👍🏻
Thanks Harvey, the performances don't last long, and we managed to find a spot where we could see the play, standing on a wall. There were so many people in front of us though, that it made taking photos difficult, and we were also a long way off. Those taking photos usually either get themselves a perch, or kneel down at the front, but this year, one amateur snapper, who turned up halfway through, elbowed his way to the front, and then stood way out in front of everyone else, close to the players, throughout. There was no way to avoid him unfortunately, and it was impossible to get a good photo with him there. He must have spoilt the view for a lot of the kids. I did manage to crop him out of a few pics, but that meant cropping some of the players out too.
Carried my rosewood HHB today. Me and my brother in law enjoyed cigars tonight.

Happy Friday guys and gals!
Looks like a great end to the week Taylor :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a fine weekend, and if you haven't seen it, make sure you check out Steve draggat draggat 's generous Hartshead Barlow giveaway    I'm heading out for a short hike with my slingshot, so I need to get a shave, and get my things together. I'll hopefully, catch up with y'all later in the day, but have a great Saturday :) I'm carrying some stag and Damascus :)

Looks like you had a very interesting day Jack. Very nice photo of your HHB too.

Good morning Guardians. Cooler temperatures to start the day here in southern coastal NC. Going to take an overnight trip tomorrow to Raleigh with the wife and friends. Taking in a baseball game at the Bull's stadium and some fine dining. Good way to celebrate the holiday. I may not be posting for a few days. Going to have my HHB with me for sure.
