Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hey, that wrist rocket is a blast from the past! :D When I did my AC SFOs, back in 2018, one of them had a slightly proud tip, so I thought I'd take that one out, and have it myself. I had every intention of filing the kick, but still haven't got round to it! 🤣 Nice-looking Lambsfoot there my friend :)

Some nice stag on that one Jack. This was my first attempt at grinding a kick but I am pleased with the results. All went smoothly, I've got a belt grinder that uses 1 inch wide belts, it made a pretty easy job of it. I placed a bit of tape over the blade edge and bolster to help mitigate any disasters from a bobble while grinding the kick.

Lol... Something I'd say too. 🤣
🤣
Yes, but it sure does make it hard to get moving after a while.
You take it easy buddy, sounds like you've earned it :)
Great pictures, sure does look like a nice day. 🤠
Thanks pal, I didn't take many pics, and managed to accidentally delete some of those!

Thank you :) You did a good job, I usually use emery paper, as you don't have to take much off :)
Out for some light yard work today

Stunning Charlie Lamb

It does NOT look good, John! Looks like a California pizza. :D Way too much stuff. And corn? Pizza should have marinara or pesto sauce, anchovies, maybe pepperoni too. Mozzerella, of course. Onion and garlick are always good.
;)

I’m with you, Vince. Keep it simple. I usually go for pepperoni pizza, though every now and then I do like one with a whole bunch of meats. Pepperoni and jalapeño is pretty good, too.

Not sure what I'm going to pocket tomorrow, but it may just be my Regular again! :D We'll see ;)

Nice photo, Jack. I’ve never been big on strawberries myself, but the summer we first visited England, my wife and sister-in-law both concluded that the strawberries there tasted better than any they’d ever had in the States.

Gave the lambsfoot blade a vinegar bath, a little bolster polish, and a good rub down.
Elijah likes the Ebony lamb quite a bit. I have to make him leave it alone. Sniff sniff. ☺️

I reckon I will leave it alone now and start my guarding.

That Lambsfoot is looking good! 😎

Very cool perspective on the white acrylic, Harvey. 🤠
Thank you John.
Good Morning Guardians
Having a lazy start to my Saturday morning...
I try to make it a daily ritual. Nice to see Mr. Redwood.

Nice one Vince.
Really cool pic Harvey :)
Thanks Jack. Glad to see you and your Barlow pals well fed, rested, and soaking up the Sun in besutiful surroundings.

Folks,

It is with great honor and humility that on this fine Saturday, I find myself inducted into the esteemed Guardians of the Lambsfoot, due to the generosity of our colleague Onebigbill Onebigbill

A beautiful JB SFO in ironwood (which just happens to be a wood I have a lot of personal connection with):

I feel honored that I am able to pass a couple of knives along for others to enjoy the same way that they were given to me. Thank you for your kind words.

Cool pic Jer

Thank you Bill, the weather has been pretty good here today, and it was nice to go for a walk on some local trails :) Coffee and bacon sandwiches for 'Second Breakfast' ;)

Sounds like one of those things you just gotta do Bill :) Nice to hear your Hartshead Barlow is ready to help out

It was good thanks John, though I did manage to accidentally drop a slice of bacon down the side of the stove! I told Rachel she could have that one! 🤣 🤣 ;)

Happy Double Lambsfoot Day Joshua :) I hope you wouldn't mind dropping the Clip on the #88 in future ;)

Great pic Mr P :D

Sorry to hear about the rain Steve, but it's always a treat to see that vintage Lamb :)

Nice they held a parade for you Kevin ;) Cool pic my friend :)

I may be mistaken Dwight, but in nearly 60,000 posts, you may be the first to use that! :D Well-coined sir! 🤣 Hope you're having a great weekend too :) Love that photo of your AC

Really cool pic Harvey :)

Lazy start sounds pretty good my friend :)

Good to see you here Vince, and your Hartshead Barlow, what a great gift :)

Hope everyone is having a great day :) I enjoyed walking some trails fairly close to my home, some of which I only discovered during our first lockdown in 2020. Walked on to a local 'urban farm', and had a nice cup of coffee, and some fruit flapjack, which was pretty good. Also had good use of a couple of slingshots I took out with me. Burgers and red wine when we got in, and I've just been soaking up some Secret Aardvark with a couple of slices of the dull pizza I bought yesterday! :D

Some nice photos of the beautiful countryside and trails. Your HHB was captured by the photos in some nice settings as well. The fruit flapjack looks pretty interesting. Flapjacks over here in the U.S. usually refer to pancakes.
Pancakes from www.allrecipes.com Thought I had better add a photo of a lambsfoot just to be Kosher. Recycled photo I'm afraid.IMG_3554.JPG

pistonsandgears pistonsandgears I usually grind the kicks down with the “Beast” KME stone by hand and it’s pretty quick. I worry about taking too much off with a belt. Good work on that!
I have used my Spydie Tri-Angle stones :) You really don't have to take much off

That pizza of mine wasn't ever going to be good, but it sure tasted a lot better with a liberal addition of Secret Aardvark! :D Thank you my friend, both for the SA, and for the cold pizza tip! 🤣

Thanks Barrett :) Really? They can be good here :) From time to time, when I am out walking, I come across a wild strawberry or two, and while small, they taste absolutely amazing :)
Jack Black Jack Black

I wasn’t thinking about the clip as an intruder as much as a secondary, but I’ll keep it in the well in future pictures.
Thank you Joshua :)

Welcome to the Guardians! :) That 2018 Guardians Lambsfoot is very attractive, and nicely photographed there :) Very generous Bill
I just pulled out the beautiful M May which Cambertree generously gifted me last year. Just lovely.
I hope we're going to see it :) Tell our pal Cambertree Cambertree his Guardians subs are due! :D ;)

Thanks Bill, I should know that! :D Here, they are made with oats, butter, and golden syrup, with dried fruit added in this case. Here's one I had yesterday, which also had glace cherries and coconut :)

When doing such work i have a little tip that helps finish the job off really smoothing it out. Get a piece of old leather belt, on the rough side rub in some polishing compound, does not have to be anything specific, and finish by smoothing out any rough edges with the leather and compound.

Welcome. 🤝 And you have got a good one there, great act of generosity❤️. That is a beautiful piece of cutlery. But be warned, you have now entered extremely dangerous territory, a rabbit warren that once you place one foot in will have you trapped, only curable by death.;)😂 Welcome again to the best and most friendliest thread on the forum. 🐑🐑🐑

I'm in California, but most of the pizza places (other than the generic chains) advertise as "Chicago style" or "New York style" or "Italian style". As long as it doesn't have pineapple on (which is called "Hawaiian pizza" here) I'm pretty good with it. My preference is some meat and lots of veggies, though.
