Thanks a lot Dwight, I'm quite excited as it's the first time I've been outside Yorkshire for over 5 years, and the first time I've had a break since before the pandemic started. I'm going to the 50th birthday party of a friend of mine, which is being held in a beautiful, historic village named Castleton, with which I am very familiar, having visited it since I was a child. The event is being held at a centre there, with accommodation provided, but I decided to stay at a local pub, a 17th century coaching inn. I will be seeing a lot of friends who I haven't seen for some years, so I am looking forward to it. The weather forecast isn't great, but I'm sure it will be fun

Good morning Guardians, I had a couple of hours at the market, met up with a pal to give him a slingshot for his son's birthday, watched the post office van drive away with my cutlery parcel, as I chatted to a nice old West Indian lady who lives down the road, and I've just washed a cheese sandwich down with a cup of tea, while I take a break from work. I should get everything finished, but I still have plenty of other stuff to do before my trip away tomorrow, and now I have to go to the post office. Hope everyone is having a great day, and hopefully I can call in again later

After missing a parcel delivery this morning, I walked down to the post office, which is about a mile down the road, mid afternoon. The returned parcels hadn't been sorted out yet, so I was told to come back at 5.30pm. When I returned, they still hadn't been sorted out On the way back home though, I walked down a small street round the corner from me, and there was a young guy working on a BMW. You don't often see that anymore, and I noticed he had a good set of Snap-On tools. We got chatting, and he was a French guy, who works in a garage specialising in high-end cars. He was telling me about how bad the welding is on Aston-Martins and Ferraris! Another neighbour of mine, who passed away 20 years ago, was a mechanic, and has a garage with a pit in it. I know his widow would be very glad to get some rent for the garage, which has been unused ever since my friend passed, so I've offered to introduce him. We were talking about tools, and I told him about my mate with the tool stall, as the young guy is after a large vice. Since the young guy works on Jaguars, and my mate has just bought them, I think they might be able to help each other out

I'm going to go and make my sandwiches for the journey tomorrow, and probably have a beer after Cheers Guardians
