Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you Jack. Life working in the Mills is a well trodden subject here. Robert Dennis poem brings it to life. I saved the archives for future dives.

Your Barlow looks great on that beautiful textile.

That's cool Harvey :) The whole of West Yorkshire was absolutely covered in mills, many of which are still there

Thanks! 😆

LOL! :D Brilliant Harvey! :)
Thank you Jack.
Super cool picture... But you might want to try a spoon next time. ;)
Thank you John. Got it. Here’s my favorite ice cream spoon.

Now that’s awesome! 😊👍
Many thanks, Todd.

That's a great-looking spoon buddy :)

I wasn't hungry this evening (probably too much cake!), so I just had some beans on toast :)

I will have this one tomorrow
Does this count as a lambfoot ? Even though it says warncliff

Some of us sometimes, jokingly, refer to those Case blades as a 'Lambcliffe', because they don't have the proper taper of a Wharncliffe, but it's not a Lambsfoot I'm afraid, Case don't make one. Maybe one day

I imagine that if I took a pork pie into the chip shop, and asked them to batter it for me, I wouldn't be the first! 🤣

I bet a deep-fried pasty would be pretty good, kind of like an empanada. 😁 I’m sure I’ve mentioned the Mexican-inspired pie that I had at The Raven in Bath once (I believe they called it the “Mexi-cow”), which was really quite good!

I had fun at the market today :) Hope everyone else is having a good day

That last photo shows a Tunisian pizza! I've never had one before, nor even seen one. It was very spicy, a little odd, nice enough, but not much like a pizza, and I'm not sure it's something I'd get again :D

Nice pictures from the market, Jack. I’m not sure about that Tunisian “pizza” though. 🤨😁

At least it wasn’t peanut butter… 😳

That blade shape is a bit odd, isn’t it? Kind of reminds me of that “modern-traditional” someone posted here a while back that was sort of a Lambsfoot but not quite. (That one also had some other really odd features in addition to the not-quite-right blade shape.)

I reckon you are probably right there Barrett! :D Yes, you have, that sounds like a great pub :)

Yeah, my mate was asking me about it, as I was eating it, and I was saying I didn't think I'd get one again. But who knows! :D

Yes, definitely not a Lambsfoot
