I will have to try a couple of hours at a lower temp next time. Thanks for the tip.A good dry rub, I smoked. At 150 for a little over 2 hours. Then an hour or so at 225. Added some BBQ sauce! Even my wife liked em and she’s not a big rib person.
Nice pic Steve
Thank you John.Another lovely photo of an iconic knife.![]()

A fine image.
Thank you, Jack.Nice John!
Howdy Guardians! Got old faithful AXE lamb today. I call this lamb the AXE cause the worm grove in the Rosewood reminds me of an axe.

Hey, I won't chuckle at 104. That's hot anywhere, and you folks probably don't have air conditioning and ceiling fans like most places down here. Thanks mate, sorry you didn't get a good night's sleep eitherI live in an old south-facing, which really heats up. When I went out this morning, it was considerably cooler in the morning sunshine, than it was indoors!
My pal was telling me he gave up last night, and went and slept outside on the kids' trampoline!
I think the hot weather - Yeah, I hear all you Texans chuckling!

- is set to continue well into next week, with temperatures of 104 forecast
Hope everyone is having a good dayI walked into town before it got too warm, stopping for a coffee on the way...

I picked up a few things in the market, and then met up with my pal for a Vietnamese lunch. After spending an hour with him, and went and bought a few DVDs, did some grocery shopping, and then went for another coffee, and a piece of apple cake, before returning back home

Sleeping porches used to be a common thing in the days before air conditioning. Also, houses were built differently, with airflow in mind. I remember an old house we lived in for a few years with double hung windows and an attic fan. By opening or closing various doors and windows, you could control the airflow to either vent warmer air out or cooler air in. I found that if I closed certain doors, I could make my brother's door slam shut. When my wife and I were first married, we didn't have air conditioning.
When the weather would get over 100 degrees, we'd sleep on the porch at night.
Very cool picture.![]()

Anyway, here's a chilly winter Lambsfoot picture:
